This is a horrible company. I would give them no stars if possible. The person that called me had a HORRIBLE attitude. She scheduled an appointment and canceled it the same day after I paid the service fee. I tried calling them repeatedly and they refused to answer the phone.

I have used Byrd's Maintenance & Plumbing for several of my plumbing needs and each time, the service has been great! The work is completed as promised and it is done correctly. Most recently during the winter blast I had to get some work done and as usual, JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!

Please do not use them. My home warranty hired them due to a drainage issues with my kitchen sink and dishwasher. They ended up breaking the dishwasher door without telling me. When I confronted them about it, they denied it. The door was working perfectly prior to them coming. They refused to fix it. Made a complaint through the home warranty. The home warranty tried calling them but Byrd ended up hanging up on the home warranty representative. Very unprofessional.

They were contracted by my home warranty company. They did show up in masks which is why I gave two stars instead of one. My leaking kitchen faucet issue wasn't properly diagnosed and they were not really interested in doing so. Nothing was taken apart and looked at with any type of enthusiasm. They simply wanted to replace it and avoided actually finding the issue. I was literally told they prefer to replace things so the problem wont happen again and they have to come back out. I feel like when you know what you doing and perfect your craft, you don't have to depend on those type of business practices. So they requested replacement from my home warranty company and said they would get back with me. That request was denied (to no fault of theirs...my policy didn't cover faucet replacements). After doing my own research, my kitchen faucet in my less than 2 year old newly built home, didn't need to be replaced. It simply needed a new o-ring that I bought from Home Depot for 8 bucks and installed myself. Would not recommend Byrd's Maintenance and Plumbing Services.

Byrd's was dispatched through my warranty company and I had a service tech sent to my home. He/she couldn't figure out the problem and left fairly quickly because it seemed like the issue had cleared itself up according to them. The next morning, the issue reappeared. I contacted my warranty company to have them sent out again and was told I needed to contact the company myself to set up a second time. As I called, the person that answered told me that she was there yesterday and there was no problem. I tell her that the stoppage is back this morning. She tells me that someone must have put something in there to stop it up since she had been there. The lady was rude point blank. So I called the warranty company and had them send out another company.

The fact that the problem couldn't be figured out while she was there isn't an issue for me. As long as you come back out to fix the problem a second time. BUT the tone this lady used and to suggest I did something to my own toilet in the few hours since she had been there instead of just offering to come back out was way over the line.

I won't be a customer and honestly don't care whether he/she reads this message, but maybe it'll make you think how you talk to your customers in the future.

Had a wonderful experience with Byrd's Maintenance and Plumbing Services. Angela and her team provided me a second opinion for my water heater problem and determined the root of the problem. The previous plumbing company, who was sent by my warranty company, misdiagnosed the problem with the water heater and was trying to charge me unnecessary fees (not covered by the home warranty). Angela and her team resolved the problem, replaced the water heater and was asked by my home warranty company, to join their network, as her summary report, fees and professionalism were outstanding. Thank you Byrd's Maintenance and Plumbing Services. Had I proceeded with the initial plumbing company (sent by the home warranty company), I would still be experiencing extensive issues with my water heater and the water damage. I HIGHLY recommend this company. Their prices are very fair and they were very timely.

This company was dispatched out through my warranty company on Monday and now I have a leak in my piping to my faucet that has caused more damage. My carpet is soaking wet, the cabinet is soaking wet and the bathroom is soaking wet! I will never ever recommend anyone to use this company and will also file an official complaint with my warranty company to get this company removed from their vendor lists.

Angela and her team came out same day, last minute at the agreed time on the nose to fix a leak and replace old pipes under my home. They did great work at a fair price. But what impressed me most about Byrd is how fast and responsive Angela is. She wants to get it right and that goes a long way with me.
