Very unprofessional. Not prepared to do the job contracted for. Home depot uses this company for plumping work but should cancel any contract as the workers sent to my house were rude and go angry when I insisted they do the work that was contracted for. I would never use this company.

VERY RUDE!! Talked to the so called Supervisor named Sydney....they kept calling because they said my Home Depot card wasn't going through, called Home Depot and everything was fine with my card...come to find out the father and son duo wrote down the wrong card number...no biggie, husband calls back and gives them the right card number and a week later they called my husband saying the card still won't go through, called Home Depot AGAIN and still card was fine.....this time I called the office and spoke with Sydney, and said I'm not understanding what the problem is? She had the worst attitude ever and I said look y'all are the one's that are messing up...my card is fine and obviously your team or you can't write down numbers correctly...she read out the account number to me since I had my card in front of me and guess what!? She read off the wrong card number....one number was wrong just like the first time....so basically you mess up TWICE but you harass my husband and I because you're too dumb to get a card number correct!? Home Depot needs to find another company to work with because this company is a piece of s*it!! And reading reviews says a lot...and you never know who knows who so being that I know some people that can make some reviews really get looked at, I think Sydney might want to change her attitude because this doesn't end here with me. Very disappointed!!

We're still dealing with this company now. This is contracted through the Home-Depot. We paid for a toilet to be installed and apparently the plumber did not know what he was doing because he left and the toilet was running. An issue is that he cannot speak good English. We also were told at the Home Dept that we were to get a Certificate of Compliance, which the plumber had no clue what it was. We needed this right away because we moved in a house and it is required to submit. So we called the company and they said they'd mail it and we still have not received it. Anyway the plumber came back out and looked at the toilet for five minutes and mumbled something in Spanish apparently saying it was fixed. Then not much later it was running again, now we have to schedule them to come back out. It's been almost three weeks that we have been dealing with this now! They're telling us we might have a defective toilet. We just want what we paid for! We just want our toilet working and our certificate. It's simple and easy and should be done for their customers. The ladies I've spoke with in the office were nice but the service is awful. I'm very frustrated at this point.

Absolutely terrible. Girls in office very unprofessional. Bad communication and no concern for there customers. Extremely disappointed on service and how they treat people. Would not recommend to anyone.

I don't normally write reviews, but this company is so bad I felt the need to advise others to stay away from this company. Please don't do business with this company! You will regret it once it is all said and done. They installed a hot water heater for me under a maintenance agreement through Home Depot. I have a service agreement and they still found a way to charge me an additional $487.00. I felt sick after they charged me $140.00 for a hot water heater stand that cost $39.00 at Home Depot. $160.00 for a expansion tank that is $85.00 at home Depot. Technician was impossible to communicate with, spoke very little English. Called there office spoke with Mrs Linda, very rude lady. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any service company. I advise you to do your homework and stay away from this company.

I will never use Bynum and Sons Plumbing again. The first time they came out, they did not check with us to make sure the issue was resolved before leaving the property. The issue was NOT fixed - in fact, it had gotten much worse after they came out. They then charged us for coming back out the second time (a day later - the toilet and showers couldn't be used that night or the next morning) - without our approval on the additional work (they require a credit card up front, so they charged our card again). We didn't get an invoice until I called their office several times and finally had to talk to one of the owners and then she emailed me an invoice - it was for nearly double what we were originally quoted. They took advantage of the situation and the fact that they require a credit card up front.

I would do a ZERO if possible, but one is my lowest rating I can give. Had a home warranty call and they used Bynum Plumbing as their contractor. They came out to install a new toilet. Cut water off, installed toilet and turned water on to toilet BUT MUST HAVE DISAPPEARED as the toilet had a crack in it and flooded the bathroom and ran down into the ceiling of my garage and was dripping water onto my car!!! I screamed for them to turn water OFF! Not sure what they were doing when the turned water on then walked out of the room??? So the amazing NO SERVICE at the plumbers finally told me """"it wasn't their fault but it was Home Depots for selling them a bad toilet"""". When I told her I would call the home warranty company to complain she said """"We are busy enough and don't need their business if they decide to no longer work with us""""!!!! REALLY! Now I am one month into sheetrock falling out of my ceiling of the garage and Home Depot cannot finish the claim because BYNUM PLUMBING won't send them the receipt for the broken toilet. SHOCKING!!! DON""""T USE THEM, I so wished I had read all of these reviews prior to having service!!!!

Do NOT use this company. If your home warranty refers you, ask for someone else. We had a leak in our basement and set up a priority request due to the damage. Bynum not only took four days to show up, on the day of thr appointment the plumber completely went MIA. The dispatch office called me about two hours after our appointment time asking if the gentleman was there. She informed us he had skipped the apointment he had before us and skipped ours as well. We could tell she was upset and apologized to us as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON.

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my entire real estate career. I made 2 separate Saturday appointments and no one showed up nor did anyone call to say anything either Saturday. Monday morning I called to complain to the manager or owner no answering the phone, I left a message. Today is Tuesday and I have yet to receive a call back for anyone explaining why no plumber showed up. Finally get someone to answer the phone, and I was told they will try to find out what happen and call me back. Unless you want water damage to get worse DON'T CALL Bynum Plumbing they are unreliable to show up.

Where do I begin? Bynum plumbing came recommended by Home Depot. They came to check my septic and advised me that my system needed to be replaced. They asked me how many bedrooms and bathrooms I have. I let them know that my main house is 3beds/3baths and my guest house is 2 beds/1bath. When they got the permit, they only pulled a permit for the main house, unbeknownst to me. Fast forward 18 months. My daughter moves into the guest house after I have done a significant amount of work on it, new heating and air, new plumbing, new wiring as well as lots of cosmetic work, i.e. new hardwood flooring throughout the 1100 sp. ft. structure, new bathroom appointments, paint and appliances. After being in the house for about 8 weeks, her septic backs up. I called my regular plumber and he discovered that the septic line from the guest house is not connected to the septic. I called Bynum plumbing and the first thing they hollered, as per every experiences that I've had with them for problems, is NOT ME. Bynum said I pulled the permit. When I went to the permits office and got a copy of the permit that shows their employee pulled it, they changed and said the county always calls the homeowner to get the specs for the permit. Hmmm, funny they never called for the numerous permits that I had to have for all the other work. I contacted Don Loggins in the permits office and he that is not the case. I called Home Depot card services since I used their Home Depot project loan to complete this job and they are siding with Bynum. Not only is Bynum no taking responsibility for their mistake, they also left me hanging with a significant water leak for a week, resulting in me having to pay $968 water bill! That was after the county made the leak adjustment. And when Bynum installed my gas line, they crushed my duct work, to which they hollered not me, even though they were the only workers under my house since the new duct work had been installed. It was causing my furnace to overheat and my heat to shut off. They finally came out to repair it once I threatened legal action. I would not use this company for anything! Not even to dig and outhouse!!! They do not stand behind their workmanship. Several times, during the septic install, their workers threatened to walk off the job. Sean Bynum has a haughty and dismissive attitude and Home Depot obviously condones the behavior. I guess I'll be going back to Lowe's.
