LOWE'S should terminate the Bynum Contract!!!! This company misrepresents their claims, they didn't show up at all, tried to delay the installation of my two water heaters for another week and I have already been waiting a week. Obviously, they have more business than they can handle or they just don't care about customer service.... Stay Away From This Company !!!!

Pleas avoid this company at all cost!! Make sure you know ALL the fees up front!

Water heater, expansion tank, and parts purchased through Lowe's. They do not arrive within timeframe given. Make sure that a appropriate city or county permit is made and copy presented to you prior to work. Plumber decided to put his own expansion tank without consent. They put down that the client asked it to be placed. They didn't leave the unused parts nor the expansion tank that was actually purchased. Lowe's has no idea this happened and plumber didn't return anything back to Lowe's. They lied and wanted more money to return to correct their mistake. They could not indicate that it was up to code in writing and argued that Lowe's is just trying to sell the more expensive items. Get it in writing if a licensed plumber said it is done correctly and goes against work order. Take pictures of before and after installation and verify the parts installed. Don't sign off anything even if they are in a hurry.

This plumber wasted my tenant's time twice in a row. The first time I made an appointment for 09/5 the office called me instead of the tenant and said I had 15 minutes to call back or the appointment would be cancelled. I did not get the voicemail until 2 hours later. So the tenant waited for 4 hours without the plumber showing up. I called back, explained the error, and rescheduled for 09/13. The plumber did not show up again. What kind of unprofessional, disrespectful business is this? Feel free to check your records to validate my review - Keisha Hunt. I will NEVER use your services again and will tell everyone I know what a horrible experience I had.

Wow! I, like so many, used Home Depot for install. I had new counters installed but chose to keep the sink as there was no reason to change it. I had to call Home Depot to let them know the counters were being installed and inquire about the plumbing. They scrambled and couldn't get the plumber to come out prior to the counter install. They had the counter installers disconnect the sink. The counters were installed and the following day the """"plumbers"""" came to reconnect the sink. These 2 so called plumbers ruined my sink. They screwed in the clamps too tight and almost went through the sink. When he was done, I pointed the damage out to him and he said it was like that when he got here. There's no way these two jokers were licensed plumbers, they probably picked them up at the day labor job site. Liar! I took a picture the night the counters were installed, no damage. He then proceeded to ask me to sign a waiver. Are you kidding me, they just destroyed my sink and want me to waive the damage. I called Home Depot and explained the situation. He placed me on hold and called Bynum. They claimed they didn't install the sink and didn't do the damage. I sent the before and after photos to Home Depot. It's been a 3 week nightmare. They filed a claim with their 3rd party insurance carrier, Sedgwick, another nightmare. Bynum refused to acknowledge their mistake and refused to replace. I called Linda at Bynum, explained the situation. She asked for the photos. I sent them and she has the nerve to say they're not responsible. I finally got resolution from Sedgwick, but not without a fight. If I could give a negative star, I would. This by far is the worst company.

Buyers BEWARE of Bynum Plumbing they are the WORST!!!!! I purchased a water heater from Home Depot and also went with their recommended installer Bynum Plumbing. BIG MISTAKE. The folks scheduling the appointment were nice. However, the installer was supposed to arrive between 11:00am to 2:00pm. After 3:00pm on the install day came and went, I called the office. I was on hold for over 10 minutes and hung up and called back. Then, I finally spoke with someone who said the installer was 45 minutes away. 90 minutes later the installer arrives, takes a look at my old water heater and proceeds to say I need to pay an additional $225 in addition to the $600 I was told over the phone. Mind you most reputable installation companies charge $300 to $400 for water heater installs which includes updating the piping for the replacement water heater. I quickly sent him on his way and I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS with this company again!!!!!

This plumber was sent by Home Depot to disconnect my kitchen sink prior to the installation of new countertops. After arriving ..... late (6:30PM) I was told that he would need to replace my hot and cold shut off valves and it would cost $100 up front before he did anything. Being held hostage, I paid with my American Express. Once done, I discovered he did not replace either of the ($9.99) valves but installed new washers instead. I have called Bynum and Sons to let them know I have disputed the charge with AMEX. Yeah American Express. I have tried to reach them for the reconnection of the sink with no avail. Home Depot has agreed to refund the $220.00 I paid for Bynum Plumbing so I may hire a reputable company. In all of this Home Depot has bent over backwards, however their subcontractor is damaging their reputation.

No service and no communication! Set up same day water heater installation through Home Depot 800 number. Bynum is only option. They promised technician out 1-4, never showed up and NEVER CALLED. I called them at 4pm after taking afternoon off work and was told plumber was running late but I would have hot water tonight. They never answered or responded to a voicemail on their after hours line. With all the negative reviews online, does Home Depot care that their vendor no shows and doesn't bother to contact homeowners with emergency situations?

I went through Home Depot and they contracted Bynum for the installation of a garbage disposal. We didn't have a previous garbage disposal so it was a brand new installation. When I spoke with their employee Taylor I mentioned this fact and she gave me the information of the electrician that handles all of their electrical work since it was a brand new install and things needed to be set up in order to install the disposal. When I asked how much it would be to install the brand new garbage disposal she said $99. First we schedule for one day and the day of I receive a phone call from the Rebecca asking me to reschedule because their installation guy didn't show up for work. We rescheduled and the day of the installation they guy gets here and tells me that because it's a brand new install there's an additional charge of $65. I was taken aback because this hidden charge was never mentioned to me beforehand even though I mentioned it was a brand new install a million times. Needless to say I will NEVER go through Home Depot again or be contracting Bynum EVER. Funny how on their website they say """"No Hidden Charges"""". #Ironic.

Zero stars. I had to give 1, but that can go towards the apology I received. This company was contracted through Home Depot to disconnect my plumbing for my countertop installment. They were supposed to come yesterday since it's usually a 3 day process. I called and the girl said they were on the way and would make it there by 4pm which was the latest time from the window they had given me a couple of weeks ago. They didn't come. I called at 5pm and left a message because there was no answer. I called again at 8:30pm leaving a message asking them to call me as soon as they opened the next day. They were closed for the day by then. They didn't, and the plumber NEVER showed up the day before. I called the next morning and apparently the girl tried to cover her tracks and blame it on another employee who was """"always messing up"""". They said someone MIGHT be able to come out today. I ended up calling Home Depot to resolve the situation. They lied to the Home Depot people and said I wasn't scheduled until TODAY. All lies on their part to cover their bases. Horribly disappointed in this company and the little lying girl that answered the phone that tried to cover herself several times. Home Depot ended up taking care of it and asking the countertop installers to disconnect plumbing and gave me a refund for the horrible company. Will never use this company again.
