This is my second review of Seth and Cathy at Butler Plumbing and I'm even more impressed now than last time. We've had Seth out to do repairs on several items in our house...the latest being a water heater replacement. There was an issue with the new unit (factory defect) and when the manufacturer became difficult to work with, Seth and Cathy both went above and beyond my expectations to make things right. I thanked Seth and Cathy for having such great customer service. They are ethical, honest, and do great work at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Seth is such a great plumber, definitely doesn't nickel and dime you. He talks you through everything he's doing and doesn't try to scam you into spending more money. He has great advice to give and will show you how to do stuff on your own for maintenance. He helped us with both our homes and is our go to plumber. We recommend him to everyone!

Seth is not professional and doesn't do work to code. Never returned to put expansion tank on my water heater. It was to much work for him. Would never use him again or recommend him.

Seth & Kathy are fabulous. Kathy took my call at 7am and kept my mind at ease while she worked with Seth's schedule to squeeze me in same day for my leaking shower faucet. Seth was friendly and quick. Part replaced in 30 minutes for a reasonable price. Would definitely call them again.

Unprofessional, Irresponsible and lack prudence.

When i take appointment, i waited about a week because the pricing sounds reasonable and professional. But when he visited he fixed without seeing thorough. Therefore, he fixed one L section and found another spot in the T section. I thought he is professional and take care of all. So it took double the time to fix by shutting off water again and draining.

He carried big tank and tools which i think is just time consuming. I know there are so many handy torches to take care of the business. He does not just calculate time of fixing leaks, but from arriving to completion of invoice which is just a trick to overcharge.

And at last he messed up one of my shut off valve for supply line to front yard tap. When i said he should take care of that he said it is old and will cost regular charge. That is irresponsible because before he touch it, it was okay. But after he repaired leaks the shut off valve is off. He is supposed to fix but did not take the responsibility. Now my front yard tap is out of water. I would not recommend this contractor. Rather runaway.

Seth is such a great guy, so professional and personable! He snaked our pipes and cleared up a garbage disposal that we thought we'd have to replace. He fixed it with little effort and saved us from having to buy a new one! He also gave great tips to help keep our old (1969) cast iron pipes from clogging up!
He'll be our go-to plumber from now on!! Thanks Seth!!

Seth from Butler Plumbing came out right on time this morning and quickly took care of a drain stack clog. After clearing the clog, he took the time to test and ensure that it was fully cleared.

In addition, Seth took the time to show and explain the process for winterizing and shutting off the hose bibs as well as mentioning getting water leak alarm sensors for the aging water heater.

I would highly recommend Seth and Butler Plumbing and would definitely call them again in the future.

Seth came out and took care of a leaking outside faucet when the outside temperature was 10 degrees. Felt sorry for him but he did a great job. Second job he's done for us. Great service, explains what he did and reasonably priced. Will definitely call for future plumbing needs.

Seth is great to work with. He wastes no time and knows exactly what he's doing. This is the second time we've called him. They keep their appointments, and they call to let you know they're on their way. Reliable and very accommodating. His first visit he gave us a quote for snaking our drain. After doing it once, our drain was better, but not up to his expectations, so he did it again. It took him twice as long, but he didn't charge any extra.
Today he fixed a leak under a sink which required 2 parts, took him 10 minutes and he didn't charge!
We will use again and highly recommend him.
