NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Absolutely the worst service. I contacted Billy from Butch Nantz Plumbing to replace our broken hot water heater on a Tuesday. He said he could come at 4pm Friday to replace it. Ok, it wasn't an emergency but we definitely needed hot water by the weekend as family was coming from out of town to stay. He was aware of this. Not only did Billy not show, he refused to answer his phone or respond to text. He totally screwed us over. I would never Ever recommend this company. Unprofessional and will leave you high and dry - or at least with no hot water.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt (wondering if they've had health issues, a family emergency or something else) but after no response to multiple calls, texts and messages on their website, and no update on their website, I feel a responsibility to warn others to avoid these guys altogether.

We had them out a few years ago, based on a strong referral, to install new bathroom and kitchen faucets. They did great work. More recently we had a leak from the kitchen faucet...I texted and they came right out the next day to fix the issue...they were great. But, a few days later it started leaking again. I reached back out, multiple times over multiple weeks/months, with multiple communication methods, and still no response. We still have a bucket under our sink to catch the leak.

Am hoping they see this and will make it right and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and remove this review, otherwise I plan out reaching out to the Better Business Bureau to warn others and to get our money back.

They did great work until they just disappeared, and doing some online digging, it seems this has happened multiple times before. We're surprised and disappointed. Would not recommend using these guys.

Butch and his son Billy are the absolute best. Reliable, honest and hardworking. They have always responded quickly and are very fair in their pricing. I trust them in my house completely!!

I had issues with an old hot water tank located in my attic that ultimately led to a leak damaging my ceiling. I used Butch Nantz's Plumbing to install my new hot water tank after reading reviews, being local, and being family owned and operated. Biggest mistake of my life! 2 months after installation my wife noticed water damage in the ceiling area that had just been replaced from the old tank leaking. After inspecting the problem the leak was due to an ""old"" flex inlet pipe with no washer on the fitting. I called a real plumber and mitigation team from RotoRooter to fix the problem. The plumber swapped out the old pipe, stopped the leak, and the mitigation team cleaned up the water damage. The water damage was extensive which resulted in pieces of my ceiling being removed and potential mold growing in the walls of my daughter's bedroom. I was told by the RotoRooter plumber the leak was caused by Butch Nantz Plumbing not replacing the one time use flex pipe. This apparently was a very simple routine swap that is done EVERYTIME a new hot water tank is installed and that ANY plumber would do. Any real plumber I guess.
The fun had only begun unfortunately. Butch failed to return my call when I asked for ""emergency assistance"" to stop the leak he created. I was called back 9 days later after multiple phone calls and texts to both his business phone and work cell phone asking for help and insurance claim information to pay RotoRooter for fixing the leak and water mitigation restoration and a local handyman who replaced the sheet rock in the ceiling to replace the holes created by water damage. Butch told me on 1/8/2020 he was waiting on the insurance company to call him back with follow up texts asking me for leak details for the claim. He completely lied to me about filing the claim with his insurance company. Today is 1/22/2020 and both companies who fixed my leak and ceiling are still awaiting payment for the job they completed. He has ignored my phone calls for several weeks now. Both companies contacted Butch directly to collect payment, and I was told HE HUNG UP ON THEM! What a true professional. The issue will now be resolved in court. Please don't waste your time and money like I did. If I could sum up the experience using Butch Nantz Plumbing in one word it would be INCOMPETENT. I paid for installation of a hot water tank that will now cost me $2000 to fix improper installment. I give 2 thumbs down.

I have used them several times and each interaction is a pleasure. They are so fast and friendly! My second experience with them speaks volumes as to what kind of company they are. I was so upset when I discovered a leak with my main shutoff valve and thought about having to find a plumber that would be trustworthy and come out quickly. Then I remembered my previous experience with Nantz Plumbing and felt a wave of relief. I called them and explained the situation. They rearranged their schedule and quickly made it over to my house shortly after my call. Butch immediately knew what the problem was as soon as I described it over the phone and they quickly got to work and fixed the problem. My assumption was that the valve was going to have to be cut out and replaced, but they were able to repair the existing valve. I really appreciate someone who has the knowledge and expertise to diagnose the problem instead of simply going straight to an expensive replacement. They saved me money which is greatly appreciated! They are so friendly and professional, I would trust these guys with anything!

They came the same day and gave an estimate that it was fair for the job, the day that they were supposed to do the job they text me and tokd me that his son was sick, he moved the job to a monday, that norning he text again that this time he was sick, after several attempts via text and pgone calls thet never responded me back, i would never recomend them or contact these people, they just wasted my time

I had a 21 year old water heater and decided to replace it. I checked out prices at Lowes and Home Depot and decided to check local plumbing companies. Of the three, two never responded. Butch did. Very professional. He did a great job, showed up exactly when he said he would, got the water heater and put it in, adding an overflow pan below it as I requested. There was no way I could have done what he did so quick and make all the adjustments for plumbing connections.
Super service. I am getting him back to replace a couple of leaky shower faucets.

I do not believe it is Butchs fault... and IF you can get Butch to do the work.. you may be fine. However, I had his Son come... only to find my hot water had been reversed and had hot water in my toilet. When I called to have him fix what he had done.. he charged me ANOTHER $135 for reversing the water lines.. WHICH he had MESSED up!!! Told me it was a service call fee!!! I really thought I had found a great Plumber.. Now I have to call another plumber to come back out.. to fix the outside spigot problem. He had forgot to hook up my outside faucet. He totally replaced it.. when asked WHY?? He told me there was no water coming out... I had to tell him, ""It was because you never teed the water line back in"" He used 1/4 pipe.. which allows NO pressure to come through the hose. I will have to call ANOTHER plumber to come repair this costly mistake. Wish I had NEVER called them. And I am out over $400
