Buss mechanical had installed a water heater that I bought from lowes. When installed,they noticed it leaking so I called AO smith, who immediately gave me insurance numbers for both a replacement water heater and the labor to install. The water heater is in the garage, easy access. Lowes is 5 minutes from the house. I received a bill for $1,000 from Buss Mechanical. $20 for parts and $980 for tech labor. Insurance paid them $481.22. So I called them up and talked to Jeff, I think, someone in service who was adamant that this is what they were going to charge. He was also a jerk. At the bottom of the bill (SD10532) it says ""Don't Cuss Call Buss"". Well, I can promise you, if you call Buss, you will cuss even more. This is highway robbery, charging nearly $500 per hour. I will never use these guys again.

Awesome work, I had a bad water heater and they came out and replaced it the same day I called it in, from calling the office to dealing with the tech that came out, it was 100%, I highly recommend them. For some reason they weren't on Yelp so I added them that how good the service was.

I had the misfortune to live next door to where Buss was connecting my neighbor to the sewer system (they'd been on septic). Buss cut a phone line that serviced 25 residences in my neighborhood (mine included), then claimed it wasn't their fault (even though Century Link made it abundantly clear they had NOT called, as is policy, call before you dig). Century Link workers on site (about 8 of them) were clear with me; Buss will be getting a HUGE bill from them because, they say, Buss was negligent in their actions. Oh, they also piled dirt onto my property, and destroyed tree roots on a tree growing on my property line. I now have the pleasure of waiting to see if this healthy tree will die. These clowns don't seem to have any respect for anyone on their worksite and I would NOT hire them under any circumstances.

Update; they finally removed the dirt from my property and my grass on the side of my house, which had been thriving and a lush shade of green, appears to be dead. I can't wait until these guys are done and out of my life!
