Called, they were one of 2 businesses that answered. Others went to voice mail or rang and rang. His wife answered, said booked two weeks out. That was fine. They said they'd call before they arrived, they called. The upstairs shower had a leak in it dripping through to downstairs, and so I wanted a new faucet for shower, knob, head, tub spout, and I knew there was new plumbing put in by previous owners, but when plumber arrived with assistant he said he could rebuild old faucet and I could return the one I got, but then they found rotten, leaking piece, the previous owner didn't replace all. So they asked what we wanted to do, they said they could replace, and put in our new faucet we bought. Also the access panel to tub on other side of wall wasn't big enough to reach piece that needs replaced, they cut the access panel and a little of wall, we are replacing access panel ourselves with hinged door and a new finishing board and a little bit paint. Also we asked to put in shut off emergency valves, they did, they had to get a few parts at store, the store took a little longer so he took time off bill, Very reasonable prices. They were friendly, honest, answered all questions. He also said about the water pressure when flushing toilet and running shower, we should have no loss of pressure, so with installing all parts of shower/tub, going to get more parts, cutting and removing access panel (that previous owners painted over and had to break through paint seal to get it off) and removing old, putting in new and shut off emergency valves on back of tub. He gave an estimate and it was about right. It took 4 hours. I had read great reviews. He is a master plumber, been doing it over 20-30 years, honest, friendly, and knows his business. He said he might take a little longer sometimes but it will be right when it's done. He will be our go to guy. His phone 304-834-3966. We highly recommend him, you won't be disappointed. And your problem will get fixed. It's good to see this kind of old school professional is still out here. He was REAL, he gave us peace of mind after this. And he said If we had any problems he would take care of them immediately if needed. But it is fixed and perfect.

After an awful experience with Roto-Rooter concerning a leak in our underground water service line, I hired Joe Buskirk of Buskirk Plumbing. When I spoke with Joy Buskirk to arrange for the service call, she was so personable it was really more like talking to a family friend. They responded to my inquiry promptly and courteously.

After digging in the area where we suspected the leak, he was unable to find it and referred us to another company with special equipment for underground leak detection because he didn't want to keep digging and waste our money.

We hired Joe once before to replace the moorings on our downstairs toilet. In accordance with the folksy aphorism ""If it ain't broke, don't fix it,"" he told us there was nothing really wrong with the toilet and waived the fee for the service call.

Not only are they friendly and local, they are HONEST. I was so impressed with their integrity and professionalism that I created this account just so I could leave them a five-star review. Buskirk Plumbing comes with my highest recommendation and will always be my first choice to resolve any future plumbing issues.
