I called this company about a clogged kitchen sink and they were very accommodating as the clog in the kitchen sink turned into "" need the line cleared to the street."" 4 days later a leak appeared under my refrigerator. ( mind you I am a 70yr widow) I did not know to call a plumber or refrigerator repair person. I called burpees as they had just been here and this leak would not quit. The young lady told me the plumber must be on another call he will call you back as soon as he is finished. That was 24 hours ago and still no call back. It appears no service after the sale!!!!

Like most people's interactions with plumbers, mine began when I was notified of an issue with the valve on the homeowner side (go figure) of the water main. The valve was leaking and water was being wasted. That is a big no no in this day and age.

My original request was submitted through Thumbtack, which sends your request to three different companies. Burpee's was the first to respond and took them all of five minutes. I received a call from the company scheduling a plumber to come out shortly later. Alex arrived on site and diagnosed the issue. He gave me a reasonable quote and scheduled the repair for the next day.

The appointment was for 1:00 pm, but he arrived even earlier than that. The job took him less than an hour to complete and everything was fixed. He even came back out shortly after to adjust the water main as it didn't have full pressure.

I will likely be using Burpee's again in the future for all of my unforeseen issues; which are undoubtedly going to occur.

Tomas diagnosed the problem on the main sewer line quickly and efficiently. Then got the job completed within hours. He was quick, efficient and very inclusive in the process. For a main sewer line they took almost no time at all. He was very punctual, honest and understanding of the issues having an old improperly installed sewer line presented.

I've had Burpees out 3 times to my house now. Every time they've been fantastic. They're honest, don't try to sell me over priced things we don't need and always fix our problem (even when the plumber sent by home warranty company could not). So now I always call them first for any job big or small.

We called and they came out promptly. We had a main water leak and we had 4 bids come in with the same solution to repair the leak. Burpees was by far the least expensive - bids ranged from 4-7.5 K. They were clean and did a great job. Everything was explained and all questions were answered.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I called two weeks in advance to make appointment. Followed up yesterday to confirm appointment and spoke to Sam who was as nice as she could be. Drove 7 hours to be present for the appointment that was a NO SHOW! I called 5 times after waiting 2 hours past the appointment and only could reach voicemail and received NO return calls. I ended up hiring another plumber who was prompt, friendly and efficient. I DO NOT Recommend Burpee's Plumbing. NOTE: I should have read the reviews prior to making the appointment.

I had a leak in my main water line. American Leak detected the location and gave me an estimate of $5600 just to repair the leak.

I found Burpee Plumbing on Angi. They came out, evaluated the system and gave me a quote to replace the entire main line for much less than American Leak wanted just to repair it.

Burpee recommended complete replacement because the line was 30 years old.

We had two other companies come out. They also recommended complete replacement because the line was 30 years old but they had clauses in their contracts that said if they ran into any issues they would adjust their price upwards as they deemed appropriate. Their quotes were much higher than Burpees.

Burpee ran for into some serious issues because of an old tree that had a large root system. It caused a lot of extra work and hours. Burpee honored their addition quote even though they had to work many hours more than they thought it would take.

In addition to them only charging what they originally quoted, they figured out a route to run the line that didn't require tearing up the front yard. We were so grateful for the outstanding work, we actually paid them more than their quote.

If your looking for a good and ethical plumbing company call Burpee.

Do Not Use! In My Opinion, This Company Is Very Suspicious!
Darren came by June 1st 2023 to provide an estimate, arriving about 2 hours late I might add. I also had to call twice for an update, instead of them letting me know what's going on. He sold me on the idea of coming back the next day (June 2, 2023) around 2PM. He never showed up. I tried contacting him, but got no reply. I called the office and spoke with someone named Mike. He said Darren showed up and had tried to reach me but was unable to and left. I told him I have security cameras around my house and I can attest he never showed up and he never tried to call. What worries me is a stranger who is clearly not reliable or honest, now has my personal information, such as my home address, what my property layout is like, my gate code and he also asked me if I had a dog. That, along with wasting your value time, is a reason why I would NOT recommend this business.
