Burnside charges $100+ just to show up - no matter how small the job. Chris never disclosed this fee prior to his visit to install the faucet that I bought for my sink. Chris did not give me a quote over the phone, but told me the cost would be ""reasonable,"" and I trusted this because a friend referred him to me. Chris spent just over 30 minutes to install and charged me $225 for drive time/labor! Burnside is located 8 minutes from my home. I should have installed it myself. Checking with friends and online for avg. labor rate, tops was $125. Never using Burnside Plumbing again. Had to to put one star up to post.

We had a leak and called Burnside Plumbing and Heating. It wasn't properly an emergency, because it was just a drip; but it bugged us. They were short handed that day, but even so, Dave squeezed in a visit to size up the problem, and found someone he could send, who got us fixed up pronto. Very friendly and professional.

I called this company yesterday because the bathtub overflow was leaking. The guy they sent out was extremely obnoxious and rude. He was very unprofessional and when we called today to report back to them that his improvised fix didn't work, that my tub was still leaking he sneered that there was nothing he could do! Do not call this company if you need any real help. Call someone who knows what they are doing and also have decent human interaction skills.

I can't say enough about these guys. We are in a 20 year old neighborhood and I'm pretty sure we are the only ones with the original HVAC systems. (2). These guys have kept our systems going even by purchasing older parts on ebay. Every time I am sure we are going to have to spend a fortune on new systems, they come and fix something small and relatively inexpensive. They are kind, quick and trustworthy. The best!

Had some water leaking in the basement just prior to the holidays. I called Burnside and Chris came over and eval'd the problem. Issue required coordination with the water company and could have been a big ordeal. Chris was tremendous in his help and work. He was professional, down to earth, efficient and very reassuring. Work was completed and Burnside has a new and happy customer.

Really very impressed with this company. The person answering the phones was very responsive and the plumber who came to our home was nice, respectful of our home and incredibly knowledgeable. We had a corroded J Trap under the kitchen sink. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. He also had great recommendations for us on other projects. I will definitely use this company again.
