Very unprofessional from Plumbers to management to office staff. Terrible work done and I can't even get a supervisor or manager to come see why I am not happy. Just excuses. I was working with the owner and he is not at all interested in hearing my issues. several phone calls and several emails and no response. waste of money. I have to re do the work myself.
Thanks for nothing Ken.
I had a broken exterior faucet in winter.I called late in the day.Sona and Tim in the office were very pleasant and committed to getting me service as soon as possible. The first thing in the morning plumber Josh Roberts arrived.Josh is personable very bright and energetic. He identified the problem quickly and completed the job expeditiously. He accomidated all Covid-19 precautions.

We had them scheduled to come out and do a complete bathroom remodel.
I bought everything at Lowe's because it was cheaper but same items as Burleson's sells , toilet , tub with shower wall and vanity with sink and all fixtures.
A few days before Burleson's was due to come out we went in to pay a $1,000 down towards the remodel. The guy at the counter said a guy would be out in a few days and that he was running behind. Two days later we get word that they can't do the work because they aren't familiar with the bathroom items to guarantee that they'll fit correct. The owner said he couldn't guarantee anything since our house was older and the floor/house wasn't level.
But he could guarantee his products even though they are made by the same company. In other words he wanted us to spend 3x the money just on the replacement items and then pay for the install. Plus they want you to pay so much to open an account which is B.S. , We got someone to do our install and at a much cheaper rate . Stay away from these people. They claim to be Christian but true Christians don't treat customers like this.
My biggest thing is they waited until just a few days before the project was to begin. Because of that it took us a few weeks to find someone else.
If I could give a lesser rating I would. But I give them less than a HALF STAR RATING!
They lost out on $3000 for a bathroom remodel and another $3000 on septic system redo and a well pump replacement. And yes the person we found got those jobs and did excellent work. And for less money! So look for plumbers in Burnsville and Marion NC before calling these guys!
The woman at the account desk was extremely rude and asked very inappropriate personal questions. She wanted a deposit. We had an account here under my husbands name. She asked if we were still married. I told her, yes, we are legally married! I told her that plumbers from this company had come to the house and worked many times in past years. She said that did not matter to her, that she still wanted a deposit !!! She wanted me to prepay her a deposit for them to even come out, and she did not even say when they would come or if she had a plumber even available. Is she possibly setting up a system to embezzle???Who knows??? All of this just to ask someone to come light a pilot light on a hot water heater. She was beyond the pale rude and inappropriate. Not just No, but HELL NO to this company. Avoid. Someone needs to investigate. F minus. I had to give one star because zero was not available. Worst business practice I have ever heard of in all my years. THIS COMPANY SEEMS TO BE A SCAM !!!!
Lisa B.Stay away from this company. Charged us $300 up front (which I assumed was to come and fix our problem). Two young guys showed up. Told us we weren't getting water from the reservoir to the house (which we already knew). Told us if we wanted them to come back and fix the problem, they would come back on Saturday but I would need to pay more in advance and it would be overtime. They are ripping people off. This used to be a good honest company years ago. Sadly, no longer. We called a different plumber who came out and fixed the problem in about an hour and was cheaper than the original $300 we payed.
Had to leave one star because it wouldn't let me leave zero stars.
Yes.....my neighbors have now warned me to STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS from Burleson Plumbing. They tried to hit me for $250.00 to open an account just to have the ""privilege"" to be able to call them to beg for service and that a minimum of $250.00 must be maintained at all times. So, basically, they are having the customer fund their overhead and keep them running because they are WAY TOO STUPID to run the business in a proper fashion. They are just hoodlums and con artists who would not have a chance in hell of being allowed to run a business near a truly large city. Clients near cities would take them to court in mass and after review by the State, Burleson's licenses would be pulled. I have seen it happen many times. Hey....what a novel idea ! They should be shut down for sure at minimum !! Carl D. Bakersville
Susan R.Called to inquire about a service and the office staff was so rude I will never use them. The lady was condescending and argued with me. This was not about a transaction but an inquiry. Unnecessary rudeness.
This company seems to think it is the only ""game in town"". I was given a few plumbing business recommendations as I am new to the area. One recommendation was Burleson. I needed plumbing and electrical work done before the winter holidays. I arranged for Burleson to come to the house mid-August 2019. The men said I would hear back from their scheduling/operations department. I waited over a week and didn't hear back. I called and got Tim Greene, the scheduling person. Tim Greene told me he was handed a piece of note paper by Tim Barrier the electrician with some scribbles showing parts and prices. It was hard to even read it but $750.00 was scribbled on the scrap piece of paper. I asked him for a printout, and he said there was no printout. Tim Greene the scheduler said that Tim Barrier the electrician's note would suffice but that he would leave a note asking Tim Barrier to call me. When a week passed with no phone call, I went to Burleson in person to talk to Scheduler Tim Greene. He walked over to the Tim the electrician's desk where the little scribbled note still sat exactly where he put it. I asked when I would hear back, and he said he would have Tim B. I waited another week and no return call. It was then a month that had passed and still no contact from any Burleson employee. The Friday before the 2019 Labor Day weekend I called and asked to speak to a Burleson manager. I was transferred to Manager Kenny Burleson. It was near closing time and I could sense that he was anxious to get the call done. I THEN HAD TO EXPLAIN THE WHOLE LONG COMPLICATED STORY TO HIM. Kenny Burleson talked down to me and was very condescending. He actually scolded me by and insulted me for not wanting to accept an illegible handwritten note with scribbles on it as an estimate. Kenny Burleson then asked me ""what if the job ran into a problem and the cost increased?"" I then said ""WELL, THAT'S WHY IT IS CALLED AN ESTIMATE !!!!!!"" Kenny said he would have Tim Barrier the electrician call me the Tuesday after Labor Day. I didn't get a call from anyone at Burleson. This process started with Burleson coming to my house mid-August 2019 and it was now the end of September 2019. I was so angry that I contacted Adam Burleson, the current Burleson owner/manager through Facebook and explained my saga. He messaged me back and explained that he would talk to Tim Greene the schedule and his rude relative Kenny Burleson. One week later I get an email from Adam explaining that Tim Barrier, the electrician that came to my house was on leave so Burleson could not do my job!!!! So, this meant that for two months Burleson left me hanging and then determined that there was not enough manpower to do my job. In the email he included area plumbing and electrical contractor recommendations. All Burleson had to do was very simple - provide me an estimate, call me, put me on the schedule but instead they opted to just put me aside as a low profit customer and dumped me without one apology. Hey Burleson, are you stupid to think that I won't spread the word not to use Burleson Plumbing? I will tell as many people as possible in Spruce Pine, Burnsville, Weaverville, Mars Hill and the Burnsville Hub not to use Burleson Plumbing.
They are amazing! The workmen are professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They also take pride in their work and they go the extra mile to fix things like it was their own homes. I needed a new hot water tank. The old tank was problematic and they quickly took care of draining it, hauled it off, and used some flat rocks I had outside to raise the new tank off the floor. They made certain everything worked great and explained everything I should do to keep it operating properly. I will ONLY use them from now on.
Michelle L.We have worked with Burleson's for years as our primary plumbing services. They are responsive and helpful.
