Scheduled an appointment for a bathroom remod replacement. Employees were very prompt, courteous, and knowledgable. Was very easy to get information about the job throughout the whole process. Dates and timelines were kept and I was very happy with the result. My bathroom looks beautiful and I since used them for maintenance and plumbing repairs. Frozen pipes (the past winter).

My mother and I called this company to come take a look at a leak in out kitchen sealing which likely would call for the ceiling to be cut open. Two men from the company came and opened up the ceiling to find the leak and after determining that the leak was no longer existent, they determined that the ceiling could be patched up. Mind you, at no point were we told that this company mainly deals with apartment and office buildings as their main source of business. Nor were we told that working on our home would cost us any more than normal. One of the workers gave me an invoice for $1440 quoting 14 hours of work at $95/ hours. 6 hours for one of them and 8 hours for another. This worker then immediately left saying that he was not a sheet rock expert and that we wouldn't want to pay for both of them, which I agreed with. Though this made me confused regarding the invoice. All said and done, the two of them worked on opening up the ceiling for a little under an hour and then spent about an hour to 1.5 hours going to home depot for supplies. Then one of them spent two hours repairing the hole in the ceiling, which he did well. No complaints there. Overall It seems that there were about 5.5 hours worked if you include time to get supplies. Compare this now to the 14 hours quoted. I told the worker that I would not be paying the quoted price and he said he had to call his boss, James. James then told him to bill me $1,100. I told him that I would not pay that since the hourly rate on the original invoice was $95/hour and they worked no more than 6 hours total. The worker called his boss, James, back and I spoke to him. James was very rude and not understanding at all. He assumed that I knew that there was a different cost due to ""emergency calls"". Never was I told that this was an emergency call and it would cost more and cost them as a business due to foregoing other business with apartments/office buildings. There needs to be a certain level of communication between a business and the customer and this business certainly failed at that. After some seriously awkward debating, during which James told me I wasted his day and he was not making him any money off of this job, he finally agreed to a payment of $600 which I think was fair. He agreed that this would have been a fair price if the work was scheduled for the next week. The fact is, James' workers cut open the hole in my ceiling and one of them said he had the ability to patch it up. Never was it mentioned that it would cost twice the normal price. I suppose this is the fault of James and his workers for poor communication both with each other and with me, the customer. Needless to say, I will not be using their services again. And I do not recommend anyone else looking for residential services use them as well.
