Had some leaks causing issues with my shower and two toilets. Water department alerted us and I found the problems, but the shower was beyond my abilities as an amateur plumber. I called Buhrle and the person was very helpful. She checked and saw that a plumber was ahead of schedule so she could likely get him out today.

Less than an hour later Merrill came out and walked through the issues. He gave me a quote and got started. In 2.5 hours all the issues were corrected. Merrill even checked the meter so see if it was moving and it was not.

This company is very responsive, dependable and helpful. I highly recommend them.

We live in Overland Park and have used Buhrle Plumbing a few times. Every time, we have been very impressed! They are very professional, clever/logical in identifying both the problem and potential solutions, and work extremely hard. We recently had them fix a leaking water main line to our house. They were able to quickly locate the problem and fix it at a very reasonable price. It is nice to work with an honest and reliable place that stands behind their work. It can be difficult to find a really good plumbing company, but we highly recommend Buhrle!

Hmmm interesting response by the company regarding the cost to install a garbage disposal. It's $150 but it could be less depending on how fast it takes. So I asked is the project by job or time and the response was questionable at best.

It costs $150 but it's determined after the install. If the old unit is easy to dismount, if the location is accessible, if under the sink is clean, how long it takes to install the new unit.

Honestly, isn't the initial job is to install the unit without worrying how long it might take? Stay clear of this contractor who will attempt to bait you into coming out to your home with the enticement of a lower cost but only after the project is complete. That's dishonest!

In conclusion, after many phone calls today I discovered that the install should cost less than the cost of a new garbage disposal. This company price was less than many other Johnson County businesses and is why I gave them 3 stars.

We had some issues with our toilets and sinks so I called to schedule an appointment. Had to leave a message but was called back within a few hours. The plumber came right over and looked everything over. Told me what my options would be to fix things, explained everything really well and was able to fix something for us right on the spot. He was professional and cleaned up his work space. Reasonable prices. I would recommend them to anyone.

We renovated two homes in the past two years and Buhrle Plumbing is one of the few contractors that consistently provides dependable service. Very impressed with the service I received from this company. I've had Merrill out twice so far with great results both times. The first visit was to install a water softener which required some pipes to be rerouted. On the second visit he installed a 2 stage whole house water filter.

The quality of work and attention to detail very was impressive. He went above and beyond to add some extra bypass valves in order to make future maintenance easier.

I would highly recommend this crew for any plumbing work.
