Buffington Bros. was founded in 1951 by brothers Claude and Vernon Buffington. Stan, Claude's son, and his wife, Mary, eventually took the reins of the company. Now, we are proud to be in our third generation, as Stan and Mary's children are starting to take on leadership roles. The fourth generation of grandchildren is already familiar with being part of a family-owned business!

Stan was immersed in the heating and cooling field from a young age, having seen his father establish the business as a small two-person operation. During his teenage years, Stan took on the task of installing heating and air conditioning systems by himself. Right after graduating high school, he took over the business from his father and, alongside his wife, started to grow it over the years. What started as a modest two-person business has grown into a company with about 40 employees, offering residential and commercial services in HVAC, plumbing, insulation, and duct cleaning.
