HORRIBLE! I called them mid June for A/C not working. They came out on the 18th and spent 5 minutes looking at outside unit and stated it was the fan motor. $800 for repair. It was working but my thermostat kept blinking. When I called the office they told me since it was cooling that I should contact the Thermostat maker. Come that Friday night the A/C stopped working and I called the office and was told that the technician would call back. No call came and then Saturday night I noticed the circuit breaker had tripped and would go back on. My dad then called Sunday and they informed us they were having trouble getting the on call technician. Finally the office called Monday morning and said they could come that day between 3 and 6. I asked if it could be 4 or after as I had a Dr appt at 3:30. She stated it would have to wait for another day so I cancelled my appt so I could be home. Technician finally came at 7 pm. Gave a $3400 quote to repair the shorted terminals at compressor, new compressor and system evacuation. Thought about it and wanted a quote for a new system and they said they had to come back out, after 2 visits already. Very upset with Bud's and do not recommend for anything. Am having another company install a new system for the cost of their repair.

After a Sunday attempt to fix our leaky shower which resulted in more leaks from the bent copper fittings behind the wall, we decided to call around town for help.

We got in contact with Bud's. In no time, Quinn, the tech assigned to us called us to assess the job and price quoted us. He then got the parts needed at Home Depot, updating us while on the trip, and came to replumb and install the new fixtures.

It was interesting to see the state of the art tools he used for working on the copper pipes and fittings. No soldering.

We needed to upgrade our HVAC system as it was nearing the end of it's life. We called and got an appointment right away to have a salesman come out to discuss our options. Steve was fantastic. He listened, he answered questions clearly and concisely, and offered suggestions. He really worked with us to be sure we got the best system for our needs. I really appreciate that he took the time to answer all of our questions in plain English, instead of industry speak, and not talk down to us. Although we spoke with other companies, we chose Bud's and Lennox and are very happy we did. Installation was scheduled and, as luck would have it, it happened to be the day after Hurricane Michael rolled through when we and, most likely, the crew were without power. Marcus and his crew showed up on time, no excuses, and got to work. They were great. Very friendly and efficient. Luckily, we got power back during the installation and after they were done, Marcus did not leave until he showed us how the new system and thermostat worked. With the weather change, we didn't need to use our new system for quite a while after installation. We have now used it and it's wonderful! Sooo quiet. We're looking forward to a long relationship with Bud's and Lennox.

We had a water heater that wasn't working.. After 2 1/2 days of getting no where with our soon to be ex home warranty company called Buds at 3:45 PM.. Explained to Angie what was going on, she responded with a great deal of urgently. She put me on hold and 2 minutes later told me that a tech would be at our house in 15 minutes. He arrived and problem solved in less than an hour. Thank You Angie and Bud you have a new customer.

We paid Bud's $16,000 approximately 4 years ago for a new system. We have had constant problems, including an issue where water was pouring through my ceiling and Bud's had to pay for someone to come out and drywall my ceiling. They came last week again to ""fix"" the unit. It is broken, my house is 88 degrees, and they told my husband who called this Friday morning that it would be an extra $140 for them to come out and fix it on an emergency basis. Oh, and let me add, we paid them $700 and joined their ""warranty"" program last week. We have been treated very badly and I am very unhappy with Bud's.

Not happy with their service my ac was running fine and just happened to develop an overheating issue the excuse given was that the cooling coils are getting corroded utter nonsense i work in ships engineering and the coils at my house are quite ok the fix was to add some refrigerant not happy with their service that we pay for and of course recharging the system is an additional charge i do not recommend these folks check angies list first if you have an issue

Good work, friendly staff, and responsive. Charged $89 fee for service call, then another $220 for a $20 part and one hour repair. Break that down and they are charging about $280 per hour for labor. Will never use them again unless I have money I don't want. Fair wages for fair work is what any company and customer should expect. Recommend you look elsewhere for any work needed.

My nightmare with this company started back in the Summer of 2017. I waited to write this after the many visits and services during the past months were finished.
Buds installed a Lennox unit for us about 4 years ago. In the summer, one of our rooms (large room above the garage) was not cooling so I called. This room has a separate thermostat. Technician came out and ""cleaned"" the outside unit. Nothing changed but the tech insisted that since the room is above the garage, it is never going to be very cool. I mentioned that we did not have this problem before, to no avail. But since the weather had cooled, I did not fret too much about it. A few weeks later I noticed water in the tray under the cooling unit; I called again. They came out and changed the cooling coil which was under warranty and persuaded me to take out a maintenance contract which would give me 20% off the invoice. By this time, the total cost had risen close to $1000.
Then the cooler weather came, and the same room was not heating. When I called about the room not heating, they said that it would be another visit and another expense. According to them,""they had only fixed the AC, not the furnace"". The technician came for the maintenance I had paid for, and said everything was fine. I mentioned that this room was not heating. He said it would take a while to heat up! It must have been a clue that when the cooling and heating are affected in the same room, maybe we need to look at the thermostat? I later paid someone else to check exactly this and the problem is solved. I did not call Buds after this. I didn't feel I could get anywhere with them after all the arguments I already had with them. They never felt that they could be in the wrong! In the meantime, I am left wondering what were all the visits and the expenses for.
We have another unit that is 19 years old and working fine. This newer unit is only 4 years old. Buds claims that older units are made better and don't need as much maintenance !!
Very unhappy !!
