Had a clogged sewage pipe. Buds came out and said there was no clean out elbow on the pipe and it would be $2700 to install one plus the cost of cleaning out the pipe. Got a 2nd opinion from roto rooter. Not only was a clean out already installed, they showed me the the probe holes where Bud's had already located it. Whole service was less then $150.
Avoid Bud's plumbing, they are strait up crooks.

I called Bud's Plumbing on an after hours service call. I was told the charge was $299 & that was the only itemized amount on the invoice for after hours. After installation, paying the invoice, & discussing with the owner, it is still unclear how much the after hours fee actually was. Bud's refuses to discuss any numbers or apply any logic to their invoices or pricing. My original invoice was $3,173 for a hot water heater replacement. After the fact, I was made aware that Alstadt charges $1,695 & Sims Plumbing charges $1,575 for this same service. The parts at Lowe's cost $634 (AO Smith 40 gallon gas water heater, Flextrol expansion tank, & 3/4 pressure reducing valve). Bud's charged $1,648 for materials. Trying to discuss this with Bud's was out of the question as the owner was so angry & shocked that I could tell him why I was charged for materials based on the sales tax.
The technician that came out, installed the new hot water heater on the sinking, water logged plywood knowing that a restoration company was coming out. Had the technician provided professional knowledge I wouldn't have had the water heater installed at 9:45 at night just to have to pay to get it ripped out & reinstalled the next morning at 8:30am.

They replumbed my entire house. In TWO DAYS. And even called out a water repair company for me. Office staff is amazing, good customer service. The plumbers are great at what they do. Very nice. Did their job and still talked to my young daughter (who adored them!) I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. 100% recommend this company!

Called Bud's Plumbing to get a cost to fix a leaking faucet. They came and said , they would have to replace it, and it would cost $450. I declined, called someone else and they came by and the problem was a gasket, they adjusted the gasket, and it quick leaking. Cost was zero.

Didn't even look at the source of issue with our water heater. Just gave us a quote for a new one.

It's great for an emergency situation ASAP, especially if during covid. However, it's over priced for junk parts that are replaced. How long will the repair and parts replacement wl last? Who knows we will see. Also they will leave us jagwver they are working on fithy dirty so you'll get to clean up after they get done... Actually

Bud's installed a large steam boiler for my apartment building. Service and support have been outstanding. Many extras to make the boiler function and run as efficient as possible. They kept coming back everyday for 2 weeks after install to make sure the boiler, the pipe system and many other small checks were working great. They even found a water leak 80 ft away (50 gal a day, which is massive). Use them for your install. Worth every bit to go with Buds Plumbing. Its the support and service afterwards that makes you save money!

Very nice and informative. Did a great job and didn't price-gouge me. Also made sure to not drip liquids from tools on the floor or dirty everything they were fixing. Will be calling for all my plumbing needs.

I'm so glad I found a service company in Evansville that keeps their word and doesn't waste my time. I have had nothing but problems with service techs in this area about not keeping appointments or charging outlandish fees.

I have had problems with my bathroom sink off and on for over a year now. Buds showed up and quoted me the fees upfront. And within an hour. The sink was working. Had to climb onto the roof and snake the trap but it works now. I got a call about 40 minutes in advance so i didn't have to wait around all day and miss work. I received a text of the name of the technician who would be coming by. And they offer free estimates before they do any of the work.
