I called Budget at 7:00 this morning because our side sewer was backing up through the drain in our basement floor. Budget was at the house less than three hours later and took care of the problem by jetting the sewer line. Their fee was comparable to others who have done hydro on our side sewers.

I knew that I'd have to have the line replaced. I'd already had one estimate for $20,000. About three years ago I had the other side sewer line replaced for $16,000. So Budget (Paul? Irish accent) quoted me $10,000 to replace the second side sewer line. He's got the job!

Bid & Pricing: Quick call, onsite visit with Paul followed by a solid written estimate. Priced against several sewer & plumbing competitors. Discussed options including trenchless and traditional.

Scheduling / Duration: Confirmed my bid on a Friday. By Monday, City inspectors were marking the utilities. Budget team broke ground that Friday and had a full 125' trenchless burst pipe replacement reconnected by end of day. Total time from call to operable home - 8 days. Job took 5 days total from start to signoff.

Quality of work / Jobsite: Budget worked smart using a backhoe & shoring supports where needed. The digging was surgical with no damage to structure or fences. Throughout the job they engaged me about questions or concerns. End of day was always carefully set with protection over dig sites.

Overall experience / Value: This team will solve your sewer line issues with a variety of options. They will be professional, tidy and responsive to your questions during the job. I can't thank the team enough for their outstanding work. Any future sewer projects I need will go to Budget Sewer.

Here's the deal. If you're currently reading sewer repair reviews on Yelp, things aren't going very well at your house. I know the feeling. Just call Paul at Budget Sewer. Please. Just call him, schedule them. Get your sewer fixed. Move forward with your homeowning life. No other company in Seattle has the knowledge (or the honesty) that you'll get from Budget.

We spent too long working with other companies, thinking it was normal to fix one section only to have another problem a bit further down the line a few months later. Every company seems to reach their sales goals by identifying the problem and fixing a 2 foot patch, just so they can come back, dig a new hole, and fix the next two feet, nickel and diming Seattle homeowners sewer foot by sewer foot for years.

Budget Sewer will come and fix the entire problem, top to bottom. They are courteous, pleasant, HONEST, and get the entire job done correctly the first time. If Budget Sewer gives you a quote that is higher than what you got from another company, check the scope. The problem is probably in the other bid. Paul saved us from needing multiple $20K fixes on a shared line because he actually understood the problem and knew that it was bigger than what the other guys were trying to do.

Honestly, with all of the sewer-horrors we have had, the fact that they have also been reliably more affordable than other bids almost feels like a secondary point. So, if after reading this rave review you were afraid that you'd have to pay extra for this level of expertise and professionalism--nope, not at all. USE BUDGET SEWER. /fin

I would like to offer my strongest recommendation for Paul Honeyman and his business, Budget Sewer. Paul's cheerful nature is matched by his expert knowledge in quickly addressing and fixing even the Really Bad problems like we had. I was especially thankful for his courteous attitude, which always evidences a sure willingness to do what was necessary to make us happy. I am delighted by the excellent work and service they provided us.

I'm so happy my neighbor recommended Paul from Budget Sewers. He saved me $10,000 on my sewer repair from my home to the the main sewer line in the street. And his employees were efficient and cleaned up so well that I couldn't tell they had been there. Another telling sign of a good employer is that at least one of the workers has been working for Paul fo 15 years.
If you are an honest person, so is Paul, and a handshake is enough to start the work. Paul is the way to go for trenchless sewer repair.

After having another company clean our sewer pipes of roots, we were told we'd need another $30,000 worth of work done to line our aging clay pipes from the house to the middle of the street. On the advice of an independent sewer inspector, I called Budget Sewer for a second opinion. Paul took a look at our pipes with his scope and gave our pipes a clean bill of health saying they are ""100%"" If you are looking for an honest opinion, call Paul.

Thank you, Paul!

Paul from Budget Sewer agreed to come to do an estimate after we made 3 phone calls (spoke with him twice), texted him our address per his request the first time and then emailed him the address (per his request on the second phone call). Didn't bother to show, didn't bother to call. Unreliable, I'd stay away from this guy. We gave the $5200 contract to his competitor (Ally Plumbing) who was prompt, courteous and helpful after one phone call.

If you like dealing with a jerk, a disrespectful, rude no show, call Paul. Never returned my phone calls. I always had to contact him. He ""diagnosed"" what I needed over the phone without coming. Waited for hours. Clearly, had no intention of coming out. Apparently, he doesn't need business. I'm looking for someone to replace my entire sewer line. He's CROSSED off my list.

Paul is the best. I gathered 2 other bids before he was referred to me (by a friend in Ballard) and both were WAY more. They took hours to come out, take video (which they charge for regardless of whether or not you go with them) and assess the situation - which was not really out of the norm as far as sewer replacement. Both warned me that they would have to tear out part of my fence, remove shrubs and sod from yard and I would be responsible for replacing it. Not Paul. He came out on a moments notice - and was even early! Looked at the other videos, read their bids and quoted a price that was refreshingly less. The whole meeting took about 10 minutes.

The work started while I was out of town on international travel without the check book. I let him know and he very patiently waited a month for payment without charging late fees. When I got home everything looked great! The Budget Sewer team managed to get the job done WITHOUT tearing out the fence, they put the sod back over the holes and even secured the shrub that had to come out during the process so that it doesn't blow over this winter before it can take root again. The attention to detail is much appreciated!

Glad there are guys out there like Paul! Thank you!!

Saw a Budget Sewer truck stop in front of my home in Seattle this morning. I thought he was going to work on one of my neighbors sewer lines. Turns out he just wanted to use the Porta-Potty that I had rented for the construction being done on my house. I guess he couldn't drive another two blocks to a gas station. I called Budget Sewer and he said I should have gotten the guy's name...at 7:30 am while still in my bathrobe. I wouldn't hire a company like Budget Sewer that doesn't respect other peoples property and thinks that other's should pay for their crap removal. They are a sewer company. They can pay to remove their own crap! There are trespassing laws in this state. Makes you wonder if they follow the law when it comes to their own work, like pulling permits?
