The estimate for the job was $1500-$4000 for a $300 sump pump that still ran, but was not chopping sewage. Was told by service tech they maybe able to cut me a deal by using one ""laying around the office"" (refurbished). When told not to return to the house, service tech then charged an hourly rate of $151+ for 2 hours +tax. Requested return pump following day upon receipt of earnings. However, conflicting schedules meant we could no longer meet & the decision was made to go another route. Was contacted by service manager who stated service tech claimed was on sight for 3 hours, but billed me for only two. Evidence suggests was on sight approx. 1 hour. Following night holding tank flooded & received call that basement closet flooded yet again. Morning after my friends & I went to the rental house to install new sump pump purchased by renter & to bleach floors. Holding tank lid was found ajar and unbolted, exposing raw sewage. When service manager called back a week later he was apprised of new situation. Almost 2 weeks later, received call from office manager stating new bill contained 10% discount. Since that was unacceptable due to their poor ethics and standards, one call into the county health department showed that they are, in fact, either not licensed in the county or have let their license to operate business lapse. I have also, unfortunately, had to place a call to my lawyer to take care of this $340 bill that so easily could've been swept under the rug.
P.S.
They still have my pump.
