They showed up late, left my door wide open with a dozen or so employees coming and going with no uniform or badge so I had to hope the strange men entering my home were technicians. I mostly stayed in my room with my cats, but I saw at least two guys without masks - one put a mask on when I asked, the other darted outside, leaving me to wonder if he was even supposed to be there.

I've dealt with some shady people in my life but never like this! Mike came to my home in July offering to finish my basement. He was more expensive then 2 other bids but assured us that he was a one stop shop meaning he would be able to complete everything himself. This included the framing, electrical, plumbing etc. I thought this would be perfect because he claimed he could get it done quicker and cut out the middle man. Fast forward almost six months and I have had to beg, plead, and call numerous time just to have his workers show up. When they did show up, it was for a couple hours here and there. I always wondered at first if he had workers since the owner, Mike was doing all the work by himself. He tried framing my basement by himself (he is a plumber). The framing that he did is not structurally sound at all. None of it is even straight or level. He said he brought in a team of electricians and yet half my outlets don't work. The plumbing is awful, who knows if that will leak and cause even more damage. His HAVC team or whomever they were trying to be that day screwed up my furnace pipes so my furnace doesn't work now. He tried to tile my bathroom which I had to buy the materials for and he messed up the whole job and wouldn't fix it. I am in the process of having to rip out all of his tile work in my bathroom. Mike has been so unprofessional and has told me to ""F&$@ off, fix it yourself"" multiple times. He was paid in full but still had me buy materials and paint. He has stated that he will not finish the job and we are just going to have to finish it ourseleves even though he has been paid in full and the job isn't done. My basement is falling apart at the seams and I'm having to hire a new contractor to come fix and finish all the work that he left behind. Mike portrays himself as an honest good guy but he takes your money and runs away as fast as he can. There is no accountability, we have tried being nice and cordial with him, even going as far as helping the workers paint on my days off just to try and get the job done! Don't waste your time and money using Budget Plumbing. They should be ashamed to say they are a professional company and don't deserve anyones business.

Tried to discuss bill with them and I was hung up on twice by receptionist. Budget installed water softener a few years back and plumber came by Friday to look at it and said water softener wasn't installed correctly because he assumed it was installed by a different company. Called office and explained to them what he said and they said they won't fix their bad installation because it is out of warranty and lied about what their plumber said because they found out it was their installation. They tried to up sale me a new better water softener. $149 for a sales job. Not a trustworthy company stay away from them.

Horrible customer service and don't show. We've scheduled 3 times with them over a 2 week period and they never show. Save yourself a headache and find a diffrent plumber.

Services not completed anywhere near the time frame promised. No show more than half the time. Price was $2000 more than original quote for new install of HVAC/Electric/plumbing. Install wasn't done correctly from the get go and fixes which were promised to be done still haven't been. In the one week time frame quote, it has been almost 3 and the services are still not completed. Every time I speak to someone they tell me it will be done next day, yet here I sit...

Charged me almost double the agreed upon amount. Billed me for time spent correcting a mistake they made during a rough plumbing. Left me with a hole in the finished wall because there was no other way to fix their mistake. I paid in good faith with the assurance Mike (owner, also the one who gave us the bid) would call back so we could discuss. He has chosen not to honor the bid he gave us as well as has refused to call to discuss for the last week now. I hope that as I share this story others with similar experiences will share as well. This unethical behavior needs to stop.

My friend just called me sobbing.
She was quoted 149.00 to snake her sewer line.
Instead, the workers came, stayed less than half an hour, and charged her 249.00 instead.
When she called to ask about it, they told her ""no, that's what it costs to come to a home.""
She's beside herself.
She's on a fixed income.

Not transparent with their rates and prices. They communicate in a way that is very confusing and even after asking multiple people a specific question, I only got vague answers. Procedures were not followed and I wasn't given an accurate bid for the work. I ended up paying $1578 for a new water heater installation when the bid was just over $800. I cannot recommend this company, although the work was quality. I feel that they are dishonest. Also, the workers claimed they did 4 hours of work but they were only here 2 and a half...

Update on this review, I called to see if they would come fix their mistake and they would not admit to doing anything wrong, they ignored my phone calls, and I got hung up on twice. If I could give this place zero stars I would for customer service

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE PEOPLE! Gave me an $800 bid and then charged me $1600!!! When I tried to at least talk to them to see what happened, they said that the invoice was signed and they were done talking to me. And hung up!!! THERE WAS NO SIGNED INVOICE!!! LYING, CHEATING THIEVES!!!! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!! They don't even deserve 1 star!

I was given a time frame from 1 until 3 to come install my water purifier I already bought (simple job). I had to call the office to see where they were as it was 3:15 and no one had shown up yet. I was told Mike, the owner would be coming. Sure enough, he showed up A HALF HOUR LATE (from the three-hour window). He did not call that he was on his way like the dispatch said he would Then, he shows up knocking ON MY GARAGE DOOR! Not cool. It took them 20 minutes at max to install the purifier. Then they zinged me with an $89 bill. They said they get paid $89 an hour. Well, they worked only on it for 20 minutes. When I asked if they offered any kind of discount for being late, he said they did not. I will not be referring this company nor using it again. There are too many companies out there that want my business. This one obviously did not. Completely appalled the owner would allow such poor service.
