BEWARE

This is a SCAM if you have American Home Shield. This company works with them to get your claim DENIED at all costs. Randy came out and barely even looked at the water heater and told reported to the AHS that the cause of failure was improper maintenance and said he could fix it for $4800... AHS called within and hour and said they would not cover it.

The same day we had Ed from Top Dog come out and he had it fixed within 24 hours... he replaces the igniter and said the maintenance was good but since the claim was already denied it's very hard to get it reversed.

Budget Plumbing owes me $670 for false claim and $85 for his fee.

DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A HOME WARRANTY...

The bad news is if you are in the same situation and AHS has denied your claim it's very hard to get any response concerning a reevaluation. But what I am doing is file a small claims lawsuit; report a complaint with the department of insurance and the Better Business Bureau. It's easier to sue than get a response.

I wish I could give 0 stars, this company is terrible. Was dispatched through AHS to fix our water heater. Came out and said they would order a part that would take a week and then never responded after that. It's now been 3 weeks without a water heater and they won't respond to me or AHS. Run as fast as you can and never use this company.

I used my home warranty AHS because my water heater stopped working. Budget Plumbing was assigned. They text me the next day about the issue and asked for model etc.. I never heard from them again. I Have called and text them every day with no response!!! They apparently don't need business and don't care.. it's been 11 days now without a water heater (cold showers) WTF...... I asked AHS to assign another contractor..

Budget Rooter was assigned to repair by American Home Shield when both toilets, my shower and my tub backed up and flooded both bathrooms. They never responded and could not be reached as only an answering service was available. After five days of trying, AHS finally assigned J and L Plumbing. They were out and all repairs completed within a few hours. I only regret that I cannot give Budget Rooter zero stars.

I wish I can put zero stars!!! Stay away from this place! My home warranty referred me for my water heater. They lied saying that they came to my house but never did! So when they diagnosed and wanted to charge me $1500 for a new water heater I was surprised! So many times I tried calling and they don't answer!

Next day I called a different local plumber and he fixed the issue within an hour and only cost me 100 bucks. I will never work with Budget!

Too bad ZERO STARS isnt an option. Reading the reviews, its clear they treat their actual customers different than the ones referred to them by the home warranty companies. If you dont want to do the work, say that! Dont make the customer pay!!! Multiple phone calls & voicemails to Terri (?) UNANSWERED. Work was never completed, cant get a phone call back & been MONTHS without use of my 2nd bathroom. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY! REQUEST YOUR HOME WARRANTY TO SEND OUT SOMEBODY ELSE!!!

Referred by AHS, refused to wear a mask. Was extremely rude. I had someone here cleaning my carpet and he heard John yelling at me. I will NEVER do business with this company again.

If I could give this zero stars I would. A plumber came out to our house as a call from our home warranty company. We had already had a private plumber come out and tell us what was wrong with our leaking shower head and Budget Plumbing was only called to get it covered by our home warranty. The plumber was unprofessional and said that it was ""bad piping caused by pre existing condition"". All he did was just look at the shower head (didn't tinker with anything) but what he said made the warranty void.....the private plumber said it was just a bad cartridge and had it fixed in an hour. Budget plumbing charged us $75 for a bogus answer. ridiculous

I spoke with Rigo on the phone and described the backup issue I was having in my kitchen sink. He told me what the two most likely scenarios were and what the price was for each one. I told him I wanted to think about it. I tried to unclog the drain my self but was unsuccessful. I texted him back on a Friday afternoon and asked him to come out when he could. He was able to come out early Saturday morning without charging extra for weekend work. In about an hour he had the drain opened, flowing better than it has in years. He was very friendly, courteous and professional. He charged me exactly what he originally quoted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to family or friends, and will use him again if needed.

If there was zero stars I would put that up here. I have AHS for my home warranty. They sent out Budget Plumming to fix my plumming and the technician came in and looked at my plumming in the kitchen and he didn't turn nothing on to see where the leak was coming from and told me that there was no leaking that the water was coming from the top of my granite counter so I went out and got sealant and sealed the seam. I got up the next morning and I still has water under my sink so I had AHS send another plumming company out just to find out that the previous plumming company put the garage disposal in wrong they left some screws off and didn't seal the disposal. So I'm feeling like AHS is using half ass companies to fix things around customers homes.
