Being a native of Napa, Rick holds strong ties to the community in multiple roles. Starting his journey as a Deputy Sheriff and advanced to the Public Defender role, then upon his retirement at age 50, he dedicated his time on guiding young people in Napa as a softball coach at Napa's high schools.
