Being a native of Napa, Rick holds strong ties to the community in multiple roles. Starting his journey as a Deputy Sheriff and moved on to the Public Defender's office, then upon reaching retirement age at age 50, he dedicated his time on mentoring Napa's youth as a softball instructor at the high schools in the area.
