Una D.Very deceptive pricing.
They say they will price over the phone, $190. Ended up paying $400 just for the tech to do a video. No snake, no fixing.
Tech didn't clean up, left door open, didn't screw back drain cover
Services are overpriced and they aren't very professional.
Don't recommend and I don't plan to use them again
Eli and Casey from Budge It Drains worked carefully and professionally. I was glad to have found Budge It Drains, who 'made my day' after the work was successfully completed. I definitely recommend Budge It Drains.
Budget it Drains tried to charge $375 to clear a clog 3ft from my toilet. I called 3 diffrent plumbers for quotes before Budget it Drains came by and all of them said $250 to $300. When I said the price is too high he tried to charge me $150 for coming to the house. Just called another company already enroute after quoting me at $300.
I've used Budge It Drains many times in the past with good service and good luck for my business. This time their techs caused serious damage to my drain line. I called Joe and it was clear he wasn't willing to take any responsibility or offer any discount or help even though they almost put me out of business and caused damage that will no doubt cost hundreds if not thousands to repair. As seen in other reviews, when there's any problem, he makes excuses, places blame elsewhere and tries to take more money. Even though I've been a good customer for years, and would be in the future, all I got was a surprisingly unpleasant conversation and ""Don't call me again."" I won't. This is not the type of nasty and greedy person I want to give my business to. There are plenty of other drain companies out there. Use this company, but don't expect any satisfaction if anything goes wrong.
I've used Budge It Drains twice in the past with good results. This week was the complete opposite. My plumber fixed an issue with the toilet then suggested we call Joe to snake a line to remove what he assumed was a clog. The techs came and I related what the plumber said. They were there for 20 minutes and charged $370. Two days later my toilets stopped flushing again. I called Budge It Drains again to let them know the problem still existed. This time a different tech asked to look in the septic tank and noted it was flooded with water and that was the actual problem. He waived the normal $80 fee since the first techs never even looked. I just called Joe to discuss the issue and attempt to get a refund since the first techs should have looked in the septic tank and simply charged $80. He told me to ""Never call us again"" and said ""you beat me today"" (because of the waived $80). Then he hung up. If this is how the owner of the company acts, I will be sure to never use them again and pass on to every plumber I know NOT to recommend them to clients. It was RUDE and unnecessary. Your techs charged for an unnecessary procedure! And you were paid $370 instead of what should have been an $80 diagnosis.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
John K.I called Budge It yesterday at about noon because my tub was draining very slowly. Joe said someone would arrive within the hour, and he was there in about 45 minutes. There was a significant blockage of some kind about 20 feet down the line that took quite some time to work out. Joe was able to dislodge it and the tub was draining in about 45 minutes.
Later that night the tub was draining as slowly as before. I called Joe this morning and he was to the house, with another person, inside an hour. They were able to resolve the issue permanently with no additional fee.
Price was lower than one of the chain drain services (those that would even tell me a price) and the service was excellent.
Raul O.Clogged drain, busy plumber...""Hey give Budge It Drains a call, great guys they'll straighten you out right away.""
Yes, That! Great advice and a great experience, fast, reliable, effective, done.
This was a really unfair price - he charged $370 for a 20 minute visit to snake our tub drain - and left the bathroom a complete mess. He did not solve the problem and told us to call a plumber.
Apparently there is a 2-hour minimum policy, which we were not informed about when we called. If you're paying for two hours, they ought to work on the problem for two hours, or spend some time cleaning up.
I originally called for a clogged sink and a shower leak. The man came to my home, opened my main line as well as another access point and told me he could not get through the clog with his snake. At this point he asked for my permission to add $175 camera fee charge on top of the $380 they were already charing me for opening the caps off the two drains. I told him sure if that will help figure out more about the clog. About an hour after that I seen him sitting outside in his car on the phone seeming really frustrated. I go out to him looking for an update and he tells me his snake and camera are not getting through my clogg and that he is waiting for another man to come who has ""a smaller snake and smaller camera that will get through the clog."" I say okay and leave things alone, mind you at this point it is about 2:30pm and he has been working in my home on those two drains since 11:30am. About a half hour later he is calling me down the stairs to tell me that everything is all set and that he had gotten through the clog without the need of the extra man. As I come back down the stairs from grabbing the $565 for the job I walked into this man asking me for towels because he has flooded my bathroom. He said he let the sink and shower run while he ran out to his van for a second and when he came back the sink had overflowed. I told him I did not have any towels available so he started to vacuum the water up. As he is vacuuming the water he tells me ""It sounds like the water may be leaking down into the basement. I go down to look at the basement and the water is pouring from my basement ceiling like rain water in multiple different places. I go back upstairs and inform the man that this is happening and he comes down to look. At that point I expressed my concerns for my wood and mold as the whole basement is finished with naughty pine and he started to get combative with me. ""Oh, well I hope you aint trying to say that you want me to pay for this because I'm not, that has nothing to do with me and you never told me your bathroom sink was clogged."" I let the man know my sink was never clogged to begin with and that I had called for the sink in the basement, which was now unclogged but had obviously cause a new clog elsewhere in the home. The man continued to berate me eventually asking to speak to my husband, who was not home and working at the time, because he would understand what he's talking about better than I, a woman, would. At one point the man even said to me ""Do I need to draw it out for you in order for you to understand"". This was all because the man did not want to take responsibility for causing water damage to my house and was trying to pin it off on me. I asked the man what the disbatcher had told him was the issue when she sent him to my house and he said ""nothing"" and that it was my fault for ""not telling him my sink was clogged"" which I insisted again was never an issue before him being there. As a woman and being the only person in the house at the time I felt very uncomfortable being yelled at, argued with and berated in my own basement by a strange angry man so I went upstairs to call the manager. The manager was very understanding and very helpful. Come to find out the man in my home was calling himself the owner of the company when he was in fact just the real owner's son. The manager cut my price down to accommodate my situation and the son later on apologized to me for his behavior before leaving my home. This was the most stressful and overwhelming experience ever. The man left my house about 3:45pm and I couldn't have felt more relieved about it. The water stopped leaking through my basement ceiling and now I am stuck to deal with possible water damage due to a ""professionals"" neglect of my property and his better judgement. He should have never ran the water and walked away from it for any period of time. If he had stayed in there he would have seen the basin filling up and would have been able to stop the water before it overflowed all over the bathroom and into my basement. I would not recommend this company unless you're okay with possible damage to your home that you'll be responsible for.
Suzzette W.I have to say, I have used this company in the past and needed their services again and they respond right away both times, I was never left hanging.
When I spoke with them I was told they were in the neighborhood and would stop by and within 30 minutes they were here. They fixed my problem and told/showed me where the problem was. They gave me the information I needed to fix the problem permanently.
They are professional, courteous and respectful and i will definitely use them again, if needed.
