I had an issue with the bathroom vanity being stopped up. It was on the drain line from the A/C so the sink kept filling with water. They came out and unfortunately had to open the line in the attic to access. The job got done in a reasonable time, was professionally done and for a good price (less than the rooter guys). There was a small issue with scheduling but I think most plumbers deal with that. Overall very satisfied.

The technician was very pleasant and I have used Buddy's Plumbing in Texas City for decades. However, I was shocked when I received the bill for $378 for unclogging two bathroom sink drains. The technician was in my home for a total of 25 minutes. I even mentioned this as he was departing my home; wow, this was fast service for nearly $400! The cost seemed unreasonable and absurd. Especially since I had them previously in my home to remove and replace a ceramic double kitchen sink, garbage disposal and new PVC pipes installed under my sink. A job way more extensive and took two hours for almost the same cost. I tried calling to discuss with the office but no one ever returned my call. Disappointed.

Scheduled service at an unoccupied property a week in advance. Waited all day, no plumber. Called office several times, was assured plumber was going to be there soon. On 3rd call to office they had the plumber call me. He said that he was not aware that my job was on his list and could not make it Until the next day. if they cannot run their business I don't want them working on my house!

Excellent service they said they were going to come out and give an estimate and they did--the day that there was a mandatory evacuation for the La Marque area!!! Felt real comfortable with them since they have been in business for quite some time and they do service plumbing and not mainly new construction-- another plus. They knocked out a dirty job at my mothers house gave a good price, cash discount and a warranty. I am one happy camper!!

So disappointed. They said they would be out to look at my tankless water heater between 8:00 & 10:00 am the following morning. No phone call, no voicemail, no text , just a no show. When I called to ask she said - oh yeah our tech called you cause we don't work on 'em we just install them. Well no ma'am no call, no voicemail, no text, just a no show. So no customer

Tried doing a DIY , and needed help after mess up. Called them that morning to set up a appointment. They arrived later that day , since they were in area. 2 young men , both friendly and asked about problem . Summed it up repaired one handle shower, cartilage was broken off in pipe. Price was reasonable , I had the part so it made it cheaper. So note if you know the problem, and can get the part it will save you some. Satisfied customer because we can shower/bathe once again , without that worsen drip that turned into a mini waterfall.

Once again, (3rd time), needed Buddy's Plumbing help only this time with a water heater issue. Two visits for the problem were made, two visits were helpful in returning hot water to the taps. Timely manner, corrected issues and after writing them a check, poof they were gone. Thanks Again.

I have used buddies plumbing for 15 years. Now that the business has changed hands the prices have more than doubled!! I would suggest checking around for a better price!

Installation of 2 water heaters was done very well EXCEPT that the catch pan drains were not connected properly and will leak. The plumbers took a short cut rather than cut and glue the provided pvc fittings to the two new catch pans provided by owner.
