Buddy says he is the ""Best sewer company in Santa Cruz"" and I can also say the same. I've referred him to quite a few other homeowners in Santa Cruz who will also back that claim up.

He came right away. Finished the job right away. Had competitive prices and equipment you need for plumbing jobs. I will never mess around with a Roto Rooter again. We replaced our main line to the street and he made the whole process as smooth as possible.

Selling house is always full of surprises, and the need for a sewer lateral inspection, and subsequent repair was not something I saw coming. Buddy and his crew made the experience less painful: they were quick and efficient, and let us know when they were coming, what to expect during the construction (important when jackhammers are involved with current work-from-home circumstances), and when to expect completion. The subsequent concrete patches in the sidewalk and the street were expertly completed. The paperwork was quickly processed so that I could submit my rebate request from the City of Santa Cruz. The repair is not cheap, but a job done well, quickly and efficiently were greatly appreciated!

Water heater sprung a leak. Called many plumbers who would not be able to come out for 3 days to a week. Buddy had Toby call me right away. Toby came out 1st thing in the morning, inspected, assessed the situation and educated my insurance agent. Toby referred me to a handyman who needed to rebuild the floor under the water heater. As soon as that was completed Toby had the water heater installed and the hot water was flowing again !!! Quick and reasonably priced.

Hot water heater broke Friday night at 11pm, Toby at Buddy Griggs Plumbing showed up Saturday morning with a new one. Super nice guy, answered all my questions about the quality of the unit he was installing. Great communication over text and phone calls. BGP also comes with great prices. I had to leave before he was done but felt very comfortable doing so.

Been really pleased with the quality of their service. I'd been using another company for while to do large projects on a 90 year old home that always seems to need something fixed and updated, and found myself very disappointed (a couple times) when I needed help with an emergency. So I found BGP, who wound up being miraculously responsive, kind, helpful both over the phone with tips and on site with diagnosing my problems, and all around a company I felt so much better spending my money on. These are just really good people is what it comes down to for me, but their work is quality and their customer service is exceptional.

Toby came out to replace a busted bathtub drain assembly, and did an excellent job. The installation was not straight-forward, but he explained exactly what needed to be done to correct the problem, what that would entail in terms of time and materials, and did a really fast, professional job. Pricing was fair, and there were no surprises even despite the tricky installation. On top of the great work, Toby is just a nice guy to talk to, was conscientious of me being on a work call RE noise, and was really neat and clean in the area he was working.

Having to have your sewage pipe replaced is probably one of the least sexy home repairs that you can do. Would you rather have your kitchen remodeled, your bathroom remodeled, or your sewage pipe replaced? These days in Santa Cruz County, in order to do a remodel on your home or to sell your home, you have to pass a sewer inspection. If you fail, you have to have it remedied before you can proceed. A worse situation however, is having a sewage pipe break, which then becomes an emergency. We have had the misfortune of having to have our sewage pipes replaced at our last house in order to sell it and at our new house in order to do a remodel on it. The older the house, probably the less likely it is to pass inspection.

If you need to have your sewage pipe replaced, I can definitely recommend Buddy Griggs. He's prompt at returning phone calls and getting on the job quickly. He's great at doing the inspections with really high-tech equipment, diagnosing problems and problem-solving, and getting the job done right. He can do camera inspections and trenchless replacements, so your whole yard doesn't need to be dug up. He also has guys who are really good diggers. And, Buddy is a very nice guy.

I hope we never have to have another sewage pipe replaced ever again. However, if we do, we will definitely call Buddy Griggs Plumbing.

Toby was wonderful -competent, communicative and quick. He installed a kitchen faucet and was done in under an hour. He wore a mask and maintained a safe distance during the call. Great job!

Toby arrived when he said he would, and cleared the sewer line, and it was cheaper than a couple of the other plumbers quoted. Buddy Griggs Plumbing was also only one of two who returned the call. They called first, so they got the job. We can flush our toilets again! I'm satisfied!
