I am the maintenance tec. for a company that has two locations in Rochester Hills. We were using another plumber when I came on board, me experience with them was short lived. The first day I met with them they had three strikes and out! They couldn't give me an appointment time, they didn't call when they were on the way like they said and then it was going to take three weeks for them to get the parts they needed and would call me then.
I sought out Tom Buckhave on line and made a call he came out the next afternoon made a list and came back the fallowing day and took care of our issues.
Three weeks later the other plumber shows up unannounced, I told him that we were no longer in need of there services and that two days after he was here, three weeks ago, I had the problem resolved with our companies new master plumber and your companies unprofessionalism lost our companies business.
Since then we had issues at are warehouse location, Tom came out that morning accessed the problem, the main water valve had to be off for the repair, with hundreds of workers in the building that meant the job had to be done after hours, that was not a problem for him, he came back later that night and made the repair.
Quick to respond, master at his work, you can depend on Tom he explains in detail what he's going to do and why, and based on our experiences with him, our company would highly recommend him and we will be doing continuous business with him in the future.

Quick solution, reasonable price.

I called around to price my seriously clogged toilet (I had tried everything myself, including auger) and got some pricey quotes. Tom came within the hour and was half the price of the others. Got the job done! And on a pre-holiday weekend. Very satisfied. And grateful! Highly recommend.

Tom has been to my house in Rochester Hills a couple of times. He is very easy to schedule an appointment with and he showed up on time each time I have used him. First time out he changed a garbage disposal and second time out he changed a toilet. His work is top quality and prices are very reasonable for a professional plumber. Tom has also done some work for a few of my neighbors and again his quality have been 100%.

The only reason I am leaving 1 star is because thats the default star count. I am irate by the unprofessionalism of this guy. He was rude, incompetent and had a terrible arrogant attitude. He refused to even look into the problem he diagnosed over the phone just 24 hours prior once he arrived at our house which he was late. Once he arrived he simply continued saying, ""I cant justify taking the shower handle apart, because it seems to be working fine"". When my wife and I continued to tell him the hot water begins running out after 10 minutes, he only had the hot water on for 4 minutes.
He also thought it as a good idea to answer a personal call mid-conversation and walk out of our bathroom and didn't even bother to say excuse me. He departed the bathroom and started roaming around our bedroom for 5 MINUTES carrying on with his personal phone call. Once he was finally done, he simply said, ""I cant find the problem"". Then he walked downstairs put his shoes on and walked out the door into his van.

NEVER EVER CALL TOM BUCKHAVE FOR ANY OF YOUR PLUMBING SERVICES. HE IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL I'VE EVER HAD TO INTERACT WITH...

I called Tom at 6pm on July 3rd with a clogged kitchen sink that I couldn't clear myself with a 50' snake. He came out within 30 minutes of the call even though he was already home for the day and the next day was the 4th Holiday. Gave me a reasonable quote over the phone and then charged me $30 less after he got the drain clear in less than a half hour. Excellent service, I'm a customer for life!

We had a Saturday plumbing emergency and found Tom's name and number through a simple search. Saw the one other Yelp review and decided to go ahead and call Tom. He was at our home within one-half hour and was pleasant and helpful. He completed the next plumbing project we were going to have to tackle and ensured we had everything we needed to do it. His rate was more than reasonable. Nice to meet someone who is good at his job, cares about people and charges a fair price for solid good work -- a good person.
