I purchased a new unit April 2021. Was told they provide 24/7 service. The week the unit was installed I had to have 2 different techs out to fix a problem ...was finally told it wasn't hooked up correctly. December 23, 2022 I came home from work at 8PM to a 48 degrees house. I call, a lady tells me ""OH...its a holiday weekend, we can't send anyone out till at least Monday December 26"" I had to stay at my daughter's for the weekend. My daughter had a friend who works for a different company look at it. He finds they installed commercial grade parts and it was wired incorrectly but he got it working. Bryant called on the 26th to schedule an appointment, I told them what was found. Josh Courer argued that couldn't be because they don't service commercial units. He sent a tech out who confirmed it was. No one seems to know where the parts came from. They finally installed the correct parts. ""No charge"" Turns out they DO NOT provide 24/7 service. I wish I had read their reviews BEFORE I purchased a unit from BRYANT !!!!!!!!

I called Bryant Heating and Cooling to come look at our gas furnace. The unit would not continue burning after the gas valve opened and the ignitor fired off. I told the first tech that it was probably a bad control board. I am a master-licensed electrician and worked on these systems for years. I could not do this repair because the house is under contract and my license is not in Kentucky. We had to use a Kentucky HVAC-licensed shop. No problem - I will use the people who installed this furnace 7 years ago - just before we purchased the home.

The tech came out and diagnosed a faulty gas valve. I asked twice, ""Are you sure about that?"" In my experience, gas valves rarely fail, but control boards have about a 7-10 years lifespan, due to the onboard electronics. He insisted, and the price to replace this valve was - get this - $1400! I priced a value from the manufacturer, and the MAXIMUM price at full retail was $400. Locally, the valve was just over $300. I inquired about the extremely high price - about 1/4 the cost of an entire new furnace - and was told that Bryant does pricing per job, not parts and labor. What a complete rip-off! I called the office and spoke to a manager, and told him that the unit was installed by them only 7 years ago - which I am certain he already knew. I told him the price was exorbitant, and he agreed to knock $300 off, making my price more along the lines of $1180 - still WAY too high. As we have sold the house and are closing soon, I reluctantly agreed.

The tech come the following Monday - installed the new gas valve, and VIOLA - the same exact problem. Long story short - it was the control board. After being quoted ANOTHER $1400 - for a grand total of $2800, I explained that there was no way I was paying $2800 for a gas valve and a control board (retail cost - max $600 for the board). So, a $300 gas valve and a $600 control board, with me even paying twice for labor for troubleshooting, would be around $1200. Another conversation, another explanation of what was REASONABLE and what was highway robbery, and Bryant reduce the total price to $1400. Again, I am closing soon, and had to get the job done. The tech got the parts, stayed over late, and got the job done. The unit is working, which allows me to close on the house, but the pricing structure at Bryant is way out of line with normal repair costs. Had I known this, I would have certainly used another HVAC company. Think about this - $2800 for a gas valve and a control board... WOW...

While I appreciate the 2nd tech's dedication, I had to convince both he and the manager that the board was bad. The tech was professional, but I must admit he came to the house with a very nasty cold and cough - he probably shouldn't have been in anyone's home. I kept my distance but really do not understand why Bryant would send out a tech who was obviously under the weather, especially after all of the issues over the past few years with CoVid and the fear many people have.

And to top everything off, AFTER explaining the I had the house under contract to sell, I was pushed to buy the Bryant HVAC plan for future discount in any services or repairs!!! I AM SELLING THE HOUSE!!!

First they delayed my appointment to another day then the technician they sent spent 10 minutes looking at my outside AC unit only and told me my capacitor needed replacing, my fan was out and I was leaking freon. He said he needed to replace the unit for $7600. I asked what it would cost to repair and he said he couldn't even give me a price. I called another company and they came out the next day and repaired for $300. The unit was overcharging because of too much freon. None of the items Bryant said were broken or even needed any repair. So it cost me $80 service call for them to try to swindle me and the technician turned the outside breaker off so we had no air tha1t evening and the house got 88 degrees. BEWARE they are nothing like their commercial.

Shout at to Technician - ""Omar"".  My mother (Pauline) who lives in Louisville called Bryant to have her annual air conditioner serviced/cleaned (that was not originally installed by Bryant and at least 20 years old). The service technician Omar arrived and was very professional and courtesy. Omar did a detailed and thorough exam of the AC equipment and discovered it was leaking inside of her home and not running well. Omar also informed us that Freon was discontinued and was not being manufactured in the U.S. and the EPA Freon ban took effect Jan 1, 2020. He then asked my mom if she had any family members, she wanted to call so that he could share options with us, so my mom called my husband and I (who live in Chicago) and we did a 2-way conference call. Long story short, with Omar's outstanding knowledge and experience, he was able to answer all our detailed questions, and this helped us make a confident decision to purchase a new unit for my mother's home. So as a family, we want to recognize that Omar's caring customer service support meant the world to us and sealed the deal for us to go with Bryant. And with the hot weather fast approaching, Omar arranged for the installation to take place the following day. So, we're personally asking that the Bryant management team please recognize the stellar white glove customer service we received from OMAR. We would highly recommend Bryant's services!

DO NOT USE Bryant Heating and Air. Bryant just sent out post cards advertising cheap A/C inspections. Do not respond to the mailing. Why not?? Just over a month ago, an elderly neighbor had Bryant out for a routine, seasonal inspection of her furnace. The technician attempted to use scare tactics to sell her a new furnace. He showed her several pictures telling her there may or may not be a crack that could leak carbon monoxide, something is overheating, and that the furnace was much older than it actually is. Another company came out the next day and said the furnace is in great condition and safe to use. Bryant would not email the pictures for review when requested. I am trying to work through the state Consumer Protection department and Jefferson County HVAC inspections to try to prevent their deceptive practices. I should have posted this review sooner, but was hoping the government agencies would work with urgency since this is attempted fraud against an elder.

Public Service Announcement! We noticed when the heat turned off there was a bang in the HVAC. So I made a call last week to Bryant Heating and Air. They came and looked at it and then proceeded to tell me he cleaned a couple parts, but then told me I needed a new fan and probably will need a new unit soon. He showed me all these pictures of rust, etc. it was going to be $1800 for the fan or $6600 for new heating. We remembered a guy we used a while back...he came and said it needed a bracket. The unit overall looks good and will at least get another 5 years or longer. What was his charge you say? $15. DO NOT USE BRYANT HEATING AND COOLING!

I purchased a Infinity replacement furnace from this company. I was given a price of $6543.00. I was told I would get a $700.00 rebate. On Saturday 11/13/21 their installers hooked up the new furnace. On Sunday, 11/14/21 I had standing water in my basement and had to have them send someone out to stop the water. The PVC pipes inside the furnace were never glued, a clamp was never tightened allowing water to drip in and outside of the furnace. I of course take responsibility for over paying for the furnace. I checked prices with Carrier and 3 other independant dealers after the sale. The most I should have paid is $5600.00. The Bryant agent who sold me the furnace added the rebate to the bill. The thermostat was not able to be hooked up by the installers. This problem exist today. They are suppose to fix today. They say they treat their customers like family. Glad they are not my family. Because they have been in business a long time, does not mean they are trust worthy. The younger generation is all about money not service. As a women, I resent being treated like I am stupid. They have lost my trust.
I was with another local compamy for 26 years and left them for over charging me. At this time, I am a one time customer. Never again. If you are thinking of getting any furnace, air conditioners, etc. from this company - price check. Lesson I have learned with a $1000.00 price tag.

I have also reported this company to Carrier.

I would never use Bryant ever again. I will make sure to let anyone who considers Brant to absolutely never use these people. I was suckered into thinking I needed a new replacement furnace after a man named David came out and stayed at my house for two hours doing a inspection on m current Trane X80 unit. He said I needed a new furnace so I bought one and paid over 6K for it. They came the next day and installed the new Carrier Infinity furnace with smart remote. The installers had no idea how to explain to me how the smart remote works.

After they left the issues begin. The unit would not cut off unless I manually did it from the remote. Also the AC was not working. I called Bryant and they sent a man out who reset the thermostat.

The next day it was warm and I wanted to use my AC. The AC was not coming on. I called Bryant again. They sent David back out here and he informs me that the AC was not wired correctly to the new unit. The next night it was going to be cold outside, so I needed to use the furnace. I was using the smart remote that I had to manually set because this smart remote was not working with any of my phones tablets etc. The heat came on about 5PM and would NOT shut off. It ran consistently and would not shut off with the thermostat in auto mode. Even when I tried to shut it off at the thermostat, it still would not shut off. So I called Bryant again. They sent out another guy named Allen Spalding. Allen did multiple test and informed me that he thought the thermostat was bad. So he suggested that they replace this $750 thermostat.

Allen came back to my house on 11/8 to replace the thermostat. As he was replacing the old thermostat he found that the original installers left multiple cooper wires exposed that connects to the thermostat. He said this probably shorted out the defective thermostat. Allen had to work to fix all of the faulty wiring. After he replaced the thermostat, he went to the main new Infinity unit in the basemen and found multiple issues again with the install. He found multiple exposed holes in the duct work. Allen taped up all the holes.

After doing research on the Carrier smart remote I found that multiple people were experiencing the exact same issue as me. The review for the Carrier Smart remote are terrible. Also you cannot use a Nest or Honeywell Smart thermostat with this Carrier infinity system. It has to be this unreliable Carrier thermostat.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had as a home owner with something like this. The Trane X80 that was originally in this house, and was replaced by Bryant with a Carrier Infinity ran like a tank for over 20 years without one issue. I wished I had gotten a second opinion and never used Bryant or never had Carrier installed in my house.

I left a google review as well. This company from the start was trying to sell me a new furnace. I have had them come out three times in total. The first visit I decided not go with their recommendation on replacing my current furnace. My unit is four years old! Why would I do such a thing! I figured the best scenario would be to replace parts. They ended up charging a little over two thousand dollars. Well the tech on the second visit got it working. He kept pushing to have a follow up appointment the following week. I thought this was odd! For fall maintenance! I said yes, because I'm part of ""the club"". I wouldn't be charged for the visit. My heat was working, well. But upon the last and final visit. My HEAT is NO LONGER working. I am sure this tech was upset I didn't buy a new furnace. Something improper happened! We work hard for our money. This company doesn't mind taking your hard earned money! I appreciate ALL the honest reviews. I've now figured out the club is a scam. The dishonesty of this company is BEYOND comprehension. DO NOT fall for their scam. There is an article regarding this company. The Attorney General's Office has contacted many from Kentucky. I see they have expanded their business to Indiana and Ohio. The Better Business Bureau needs to be contacted!

My mother she was the owner of the place at that time, she has pass away, leaving the place to my son. At the time she owned the place she called them when her Heat went out, and they Installed a new Heater and central air, my mother wanted to add duct work to the added to the room, so air would go there, but this is were it Failed! It Leaks A Lot of Air and it has never cooled the place under 85 F when the outside the temp is 90! So the AC with the leaking vent under the place it only cools by 5 f lower then the outside temp! Me and my Son has been calling then when we could not deal with the heat any longer and they just sent people that have no clue how to remove a add duct to close back to stop the leaking Gerbil slinky that is laying on the ground. They Lie they tell you anything to get you off the phone! They be in hurry to you when you are a new customer, but after they do bad work they forget you and move on!

2 guys later last one said the AC is working Fine! Right but your Duct work is leaking and it has never been FIXED the right way!
