I am updating this review to 4 stars because after leaving a voice mail at Bryan Young Plumbing they came back and made good on the problems. I couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you.

Had a leak issue under the bathtub. Bryan sent his guys out quickly and they arrived on time and were super helpful!

One more perfect dealing with BYP, this time with Rusty who thinks he actually plumbed this house when it was built 13 years ago! Rusty's the Man:) BYP is the best.

Bryan Young Plumbing is the best. He never gives-up! He's been there for us over the years and we ""highly"" recommend him.

You want a list? 1. When the BYP plumber installed the new plumbing in the shower before the tile was put in, he then tried turning on the water thinking the valve was off. He was outside, I was inside. Water poured through the ""off valve"" to bottom of the untiled shower and through the ceiling to the family room below. Big area of water damage and they were nasty about repairing it. 2. Plumber also informed me that a Euro style hand shower would not hold in the tile. Ended up buying a new showerhead from them. Found out later that was a TOTALLY bogus assessment from 2 other plumbers. 3. Also part of this job, installing 3 hansgrohe sink faucets in the bathrooms. They leaked into the cabinet below from the get go. Called them back to fix it 3 times. Finally no leaks. 4. Also part of this job, they got the specs wrong on the toilets from the figures my tile guy gave them. Had to alter a cabinet to accommodate.
What can I say? Communication was terrible. Attitude was worse. I will never use this plumbing company again. Snafus are expected, but this list involved every aspect of the plumbing job they came to do, and their attitude made me scream--literally--when I was far far away! This was a job from 2 years ago...so the memory of it still grates!

I had a broken pipe, due to freezing, under my house and because I live in a home with a community water system, that isn't metered with a separate valve, they were going to have to have the park shut off the water to everyone just to fix my pipe... Instead, they decided they could quickly cut and install a connection called a shark bite that has a valve to shut the water off coming from the main system, which they did, and then extended out new pipe to my water main. It worked! They were here and gone in less than an hour. Both guys were professional, friendly and stayed with the job until my water was running again. They also came in an checked everything out to make sure everything was going and there were no leaks. The price was really good too! I am very pleased.

I am so glad that my sister recommended Bryan Young Plumbing to me. I couldn't be more pleased! I needed a hose bib changed out and so Robert patiently did this. Robert had to go under the house in the crawl space to change out the bib. He was positive and pleasant the whole time, while having to negotiate the crawl space. Robert clearly explained to me what he needed to do and he even took photos of what it looked like under the house, from where the new connection would be made. I appreciate that Robert did not talk down to me, rather he spoke to me as an equal. He was kind and very professional. I will call BYP for all of my plumbing needs. Thank you!

Terrible service. i took off work to meet the technician and they never showed. I had to call the office and no -one answered. When i finally re-scheduled it was like 3 weeks later and then they did a mediocre job at best. Would never recommend to anyone.

I highly recommend this business.
As a former resident and owner of a single-family rental home, I have had many dealings with contractors in Bend. Many have been bad or terrible, with the usual display of ""contractoritis"" (slow, unreliable, inefficient, unethical, overpriced). Bryan was a breath of fresh air - literally. The basement in my rental house smelled like a toilet. The problem was unusual -- sewer gas was backing its way through a sump pump and pump out hose that was lifting the clothes washer's drain water from an open sump pit to the overhead sewer line. The solution seemed to be a sealed sump pump, but it was complicated by the need to vent the pump, as well as by the stone walls of the basement. I was given several quotes that were all over the map that involved crazy schemes including burrowing through the stone walls to allow running a vent pipe through three stories of floor, ceiling and roof. The lunacy and the price quotes blew my own roof off, so to speak.
Bryan came up with an elegant, simple solution and a reasonable price for the pump, line and vent . In fact, his estimate for the sump job, as well as an unrelated task of re-working my own faulty dishwasher plumbing, was lower than the next guy's bid for installing a sump pump alone. He did the whole job, including replacing every inch of related plumbing, exactly on time and on budget.
Unfortunately for Bryan, his first effort at the major job produced an unanticipated problem. Initially, it the system worked great, but periodically suds from the tenant's washing machine overwhelmed the sealed pump system. (This may have been due to the tenants using high-foam soap and too much of it, but in any event, it needed fixing.) Bryan came back, evaluated the problem, and installed a basement sink for the washer to drain into, then connected the sink's drain to the sump. He also plumbed water lines into the sink to make it fully functional. Now it works perfectly and the basement smells CLEAN! When the tenant complained a couple of weeks later that a small leak had appeared under the sink (due to an unrelated worn out faucet cartridge) Bryan came out and diagnosed the problem. He didn't charge anything for all the extra visits, time or parts. That actually shocked me!
I hope I'm not sticking Bryan with doing follow up work for free forever, but I really appreciated his conscientious, thoughtful, high-quality work and especially his dedication to getting the job done right.

We are very happy with the service we got from Robert at Bryn Young plumbing. He was efficient and creative since our home is an older home with plumbing that required some real creativity he pulled the job off with flying colors! They are a real company that come when they say they are going to be there and call you back when you need them to. So refreshing in a day and age where people seem to not want to work very hard. Thanks!!!
