Friendly, fast and effortless is how I'd describe Briton Backflow & Irrigation!

As a first time homeowner, I wasn't aware of my yearly responsibility to do a Backflow test - may have been apart of the massive pile of paperwork during closing but can you blame me if I forgot!

When I called, Jan explained the whole process to me and told me that all I had to do is give them my address, they'll stop by before the due date given by the city and they'll even submit the report for me. Best part, I didn't even need to be home!

I have used Bruton Backflow's services (winterization, backflow test, spring activation) since October 2020. I'm very inquisitive, and both Tim and Matt have been great about answering my questions about the backflow preventer and the irrigation system in general. They even taught me how to shut down the irrigation system in winter and open it up in spring so that I don't need to hire them to do it. So awesome! They are friendly, courteous, and careful not to damage plants surrounding the backflow preventer and main irrigation shutoff valve. Today, my neighbor came by because their backflow tester was a no-show. I was very happy to recommend Bruton Backflow. They're the best!

It would be hard for me to overstate what a stand-up guy Tim is. He happened to be at my sister-in-law's home when we arrived for a visit. He made an unscheduled stop well past the end of his normal work hours because he had completed a job in the neighborhood and knew my sis needed the help (even though her appointment was scheduled for a future date). I know Tim because he also takes care of our sprinklers. I always enjoy learning from him and he is more than willing to share his knowledge. I took the opportunity to describe an issue we are having (one zone is not activating). He spent 10 minutes with me going over potential sources and solves for our issue and said he was more than happy to look at a pic of the offending valve junction and could advise me further. That is just the type of person Tim is. If Tim could take 10 minutes at 6:45pm to talk sprinklers with him I can take 5 minutes to write a positive review of this outstanding gentleman and his company.

Just wrapped up with Tim Bruton of Bruton Backflow. I had them on the schedule to review a backflow device that needed to be 'replaced' according to a lot of other providers. Tim diagnosed the problem in 2 minutes and fixed it in another 30. Other shops wanted to charge me $1800-$2000 for a full replacement that was not even warranted. Which, also, would have cost a fraction of that based on Tim's estimate if I had wanted to go that route. Overall amazing service and price. Tim really knows his stuff. I'm a customer for life!

I have been using Bruton for a couple of years now, not only at my personal home but through my business as well. Their techs are always very friendly and informative and the office staff is great as well! I myself do not know much about sprinkler systems so when I ask questions that I feel may be stupid, they still respond with clarity and respect.
If you need something as minor as a backflow test or even up to major repairs on your system I highly recommend using Bruton!

Bruton completes my annual Backflow testing every year. They are VERY easy to do business with. Easy to schedule an appointment, easy to pay, and most important of all they submit the testing results to the city without any effort from me. I literally let them know I need the testing done and everything is handled from there. A+!!

""As good as it gets"" is an apt description of this company. One of the unexpected joys of moving to Oregon is living in close proximity to many kind, friendly and generous souls. Tim Bruton is the epitome of this. He is eminently knowledgeable, unfailingly kind and generous in sharing his considerable wisdom. I echo the comments of previous reviewers that he went above and beyond, and that the price/value of his service is exceptional. My only regret is that I didn't call his company sooner.
