We had water backing up into our basement as we approached the holidays. Our plumber said it was the sewer line which needed other specialists. Roto Rooter couldn't solve the problem as it turned out to be a more complex issue than originally thought. Dan from Brute responded to my call right away and came up with a plan of attack to get us through the holidays and back to normal water usage as economically as possible. Brute scheduled us quickly and showed up promptly when they said they would. They kept us informed every step of the way and documented their findings for our insurance claims.

I had a leaking water service line that was lead and needed to be fully replaced - from across the street running to the back section of my house. If this was not a headache enough to deal with - the water company imposed a deadline to complete the repair and it was the holiday season. I called Brute and they simply took it from there. Uri, Dan, and their team handled everything perfectly and were very helpful in patiently answering all of my questions along the entire way. When they told me they would have the job completed in a day I thought that was impossible, but they proved me wrong with an amazing clean up to boot. I hired them to remove a 10x20 concrete pool from my yard. The pool demo went fine. They started and finished on time. The reason I can't recommend them is that once the winter was over and had some issues with the yard they were very difficult to get a hold of. There was some concrete they were supposed to remove and it took many weeks of back and forth to get them to come and remove it. They are still supposed to come and put top soil to level the yard and they keep pushing it off saying they are busy with other jobs. I have to text 3/4 times to get them to respond. Very poor customer service. I would not hire.

Like most people, I look to the internet to find true honest testimonials and recommendations to find the best of the best. I often question, ""who has time to write these reviews?"" The answer.... People like me who need to pay it forward to the guys at Brute Contracting. I've had nothing but bad luck with finding the 'right' ones for the job, it has cost me a lot of time, money and aggravation. This time I spent a week searching and vetting all from local, long distance, small to big franchise companies. First, their bid for the job came right on average with all others, well priced, detailed including the 'fine print'. Uri and Dan were perfectly in sync with the labor needs, the town permits, inspections, scheduling and best part is that I didn't have to chase them, they were always communicating with me every step of the way. If you know anything about what it takes, they had to camera the line, assess the damage/work needed, gathered the tools/material, obtain town permit and inspection, PSE&G markings, excavators, etc. all in a matter of 4 days. They orchestrated the whole project so well, that exactly at 7am they dug up my main sewage line and installed a much improved one (better pitch/material/installation method) by 1pm the same day. Trust me (A very busy work from home professional who runs a very busy household and have zero tolerance for sloppy, dishonest, bad contactors) Brute Contracting delivered in every aspect, so if you are looking for a 'military like' job that will leave you so happy you would want to leave a review, call Brute. Brute Contracting did an amazing job on my hall bathroom. It was a complete gutt renovation and it went smoothly and quickly. Dan was there every step of the way - giving me daily updates and always leaving my home in a neat and orderly manner. He even worked with me with my two large dogs who are at home during the day. I wish everything could run as smoothly as this job. The work is beautiful and I already have friends and family lining up to get his number. I would recommend Dan and Brute Contracting 110% and look forward to having them back for my master bathroom reno next year.
