I agree. Randy is terse and rude (he raised his voice at me too when I asked for clarification and rationale regarding his work). He is quite motivated by money over customer service.

I recently had Brunson come to my property for an emergency situation. They were very receptive to a last minute call for service.
I had a bit of a dispute to the billing, Randy called me right away, and was very understanding to my question and concerns. He very quickly refunded me the dollars I was concerned about.
VERY customer focused.
Thanks Randy, we will call you again for sure. Keith

A phone call early in the morning on Columbus Day for my aging grandfather brought out Steve who was able to fix their septic system that day. He knew the exact problem that caused their kitchen to flood and his service was great. I would recommend him to anyone and was very happy with the service.

The manager Randy has NO customer service skills. Yelled at my sister, took complete advantage of an 88 year old lady. Charged 3 hours for a 1:15 min service that they couldn't even do anything. Charged a 75- equipment fee for a machine that my grandmother TOLD HIM they needed in the first place. But instead, the manager came out and stared at it for 30 min then called someone else... to charge a bigger fee for what she asked for in the first place! Family and neighbors SAW THEM on the phone, sitting in their truck and CHARGED FOR IT!! This is completely unacceptable customer service. I cannot give 0 out of 5 or else I would. NO ONE USE THESE PEOPLE!!

If you're looking for a friendly, honest, and competent plumbing service, look elsewhere.

The pipes in my 87-year-old grandmother's house started backing up, so we called Brunson to schedule an appointment. A lady answered and we specifically requested that they bring their *big* machine due to a tree root issue in the front yard. The lady acknowledged our request and made a note of it to give to whomever came out.

The guy showed up (Randy is his name -- he's the manager) and attempted to clear the line with a small snake. 30 minutes later, he tells us that he couldn't get through, that he needed to try a bigger machine, which he didn't bring with him despite our request. He told us that another guy would bring it by later to continue the job and that his time would be added to his. Meanwhile, he tried to charge us for 1 hour of labor (we're talking $140+/hr).

(This isn't the first time they've pulled this stunt. Randy did the same thing to my grandma 4 years ago, and he charged her for the time it took him to retrieve the machine. We didn't think much of it at the time and just copped it up to a simple mishap. Shame on us for making the same mistake twice. The only reason we called them again is because they managed to clear the sewer line the last time.)

Hours later, another guy finally shows up with the big machine that Randy magically forgot the first time (for the second time). He was slow as molasses and spent part of the time just sitting in his truck. 45 minutes later, he tells us he can't break through and that the main sewer line is shot. We ended up having to pay over $300 for time they didn't actually work and ridiculous equipment fees (equipment that ran off of our own electricity), all for a job they couldn't even finish.

My grandma's on a fixed income and can't afford to fix a broken sewer line (which costs anywhere between $1,500 to $18,000 or more), so we talked to someone who works for the city in search for any programs that could help. We told the gentleman about our experience with Brunson and he told us that we should demand a full refund since they didn't actually fix anything.

We called Brunson and asked the lady why our request wasn't fulfilled. She had nothing to say for herself and told us she'd call back after she sorted it out. We never heard back from her. My sister-in-law called them the following day and was also told that they'd call her back. Randy finally called her back a day or two later and was completely rude to her about the situation. They claim that customer satisfaction is their top priority, but it seems to me that ripping seniors off is their main priority.

This company is rude, dishonest, and incompetent. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

The guy was nice who came out, but he spent about 5-7 minutes in the house, and charged $140 (of which $125 was for labor). It seemed pretty expensive to me, considering he snipped a chain & left. I would not use them again.
