After my summer annual service where I also had UB lights installed to prevent mold - my house stopped cooling properly / it was uneven and warming up to 82 degrees during the day. IBruno came back out and told me I had improper type ductwork ( mobile home ductwork in my attic ), it was 14 vs 16 inches needed for a 3 ton machine, it was deteriorating rapidly ( since August ) due to the UV radiation beating down on it through my metal roof, it had many leaks that were at this point not reliably repairable, my coil was leaking due to the improper size of my ductwork, and my static pressure was too high - again because of my ductwork. I needed to replace my coil and ductwork ASAP to not compromise the motor which could fail because of the bad static pressure . I asked to verify that my ductwork was not just loose or leaking somewhere down the line because everything had been working great in August at my service call. Two more visits with field supervisor oversight verified their original findings each time. - incorrect type, size , and decrepit deteriorating ductwork, leaking coil, high static pressure . I had two other companies come to give me quotes on the work required since Bruno""""s total was 16500 for the required repairs. The problem turned out to be a duct dislodged 16"""" from its mixing box leading to my master bedroom. Once it was reconnected ( 123$ ) - all my cooling issues resolved. No leaks were detected anywhere along the line - my coil is not leaking - my static pressure is perfect - and I have 16"""" ductwork. My house was cooling properly before the annual service and UV light installation, the problem occurrd just after the visit but none of Bruno's techs would discuss anything with me except full renovation of my ductwork to solve my cooling problem ( four hours total of ductwork sales pitches ). I will admit that Replacing the duct work as recommended would have fixed my cooling issue as it would have rectified the 16 inch gap between the loose duct and the mixing box. I like the 123$ fix better without also replacing a perfectly good coill for 1500 parts and labor.

Please, watch out. Bruno Total Home has been in the news for dishonest business practices. There are numerous lawsuits and over 200 complaints to Florida's Attorney General. I was oversold on a new unit and duct work. I had over 20 service calls in first 4 years. Louis Bruno would not return my phone calls.

I had signed up for an Angies List special price of $49 for an AC cleaning and 1 lb of Freon. When I called for an appointment they said they had no record of me and I gave them the code number for proof with Angies List. They said they would call Angies List. After two calls back to them they still had no information so I forgot about it and now one year later and several more calls they say its past the 6 month time frame limit so they will not honor it EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE THE ONES WHO TOLD ME THEY WOULD CALL ANGIES LIST AND APPARENTLY NEVER DID. Also there is a woman on next door in Cape Coral who they charged $16K she says for a 1500 sq ft home and it doesn't work and they wont do anything about it. Yet they sucker people in all the time with large newspaper ads giving FREE checks of your AC, heating and a bunch of others all so they can get in your house and upsell . BEWARE and what a shame that a company has nothing but one star reviews.

Please utilize the search function and Google this company. They are not trained how to fix ACs - only to up sell. They advised us our AC was burnt out and we needed a new one. Called another company the same day and it was the capacitor. It was fixed and running. They refuse to refund me the $75 fee - however are quick to point out that IF we had used them to fix our AC it would have been waived. Considering the fact they misdiagnosed my problem I never had the chance to have them fix my unit as they only *fix* they provided a was completely new system. They refuse to refund me the $75 service fee - which I would have not paid f they had accurately diagnosed my issue. Please stay far away.

Do not call or get involved with this company. We foolishly used them for years till my neighbor got a second quote on an air conditioning unit which was the same exact unit we purchased. They paid 2,000 less.!!! Then on a service contract we foolishly got. Every time they came in they claimed we had an issue. This last time. The tech showed me a fake pic on his phone. Said the duct work was failing and unsealed in 3 areas. He said the person before didn't do it correctly. (Who also happened to be a Bruno tech).That the repairs would be 600.00 dollars. We called a 2nd tech approved by home advisor . He said our duct work and air conditioning was fine. Nothing needed to be done. My neighbors have had similar experiences and we all filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Stay away from this unethical immoral company!!!!!

I feel that Bruno Total home services attempts to take advantage of home owners through Pace program.I was quoted $31,000 for new a/c system. Interesting enough, that is the maximum allowed, through Pace program, for my house. $31,000 could cover new a/c, duct work, insulation, pool pump, new windows and doors. That will make sensible use of Pace energy program. I will find fair and reasonable contractors to perform these upgrades to my house. I have never seen a Bruno service vehicle in my subdivision. Now I fully understand why!!

I have a well system that I needed repair so I called Bruno to have them take a look. After a year and $10,000 dollars I finally told them to never step foot on my property again or they would be arrested for trespassing. They are all about jacking up the price and doing the most shoddy work possible. I had another company come out and inspect the work done and they could not believe the ineptitude of the technicians. I have asked nicely for a refund of some of the money paid, I have even gone through a neutral remediation company to resolve the issue. Now I will be hiring an attorney and suing Bruno. Stay away from them and tell you friends and family to stay away from this company at all costs. Michael M.

I typically don't review but it seems to be a trend. These guys take their business for granted. Surely they are great marketers, but at some point they need to step up. 10 1 star reviews.. ouch.. my brother called them 2 weeks ago from a deal he saw and the receptionist had no idea what the deal was.. never called back.

This company scheduled a service call almost two weeks ago and on the day they were to come out they called at the last minute to say they were not coming. Usually they call the day before to remind you of the appointment but this time they just waited till service day to say they were not coming....this is after i had already paid the tenant in the house to stay home from work because i do not trust them after the rip off scandal they are immersed in. They will not work with you to reschedule. No one from management will talk to you and they use the low paid office workers to do the dirty work. They deserve to go out of business because they are predators.

This is absolutely the worst of the worst company I had to deal with . The general manager told me over the phone to go f... myself after I had them installed ( only worked for 6 months )a entire new system . They had the guts to tell me it was my fault the system was not working properly because they hook up there equipment to my existing copper lines in the house. They actually wanted to charge a extra 650 dollars just to come back to check my system . The whole entire stuff was new and still under warranty for 5 years according to their contract.....they are bunch of clowns . 6 000.00 they got me for..... beware ! They put on a good show for sure !
