We had a bad experience where we lost the use of our sink for a week and got stuck footing the bill for the repair to the counter granite top. I did approve the attempt to modify counter to install the sink but didnt expect the attempt to create damage that resulted the bad experience. Installer used bad judgement so one star means it was a disaster can't recommend

We had Bruner Plumbing put in all new plumbing/hook up to the street line for our tiny house in NE Portland. They were extremely thoughtful, responsive, and skillful throughout the whole process. They went above and beyond numerous times to make sure we met our timeline for our permit approval and could move in as quickly as possible. This included being on site for our plumbing inspection and when we had issues with our shower soon after it was installed they were quick to come back out to fix things. Everyone they sent out to our house was nice, considerate, and did a great job. We couldn't have asked for better service - they've got a customer for life!

We were so impressed with Bruner Plumbing. One of the frost-free hose bibs needed to be replaced in the front of our house. We called Bruner late in the afternoon and Justin was here at 9 the next morning. The job entailed cutting through the drywall in our living room. His work was neat and the clean-up job was excellent. He was professional, courteous and did not charge us an arm and a leg. We would highly recommend them and would call them again when we have a plumbing issue.

These guys are as good as it gets. I have used them for years and have always been impressed with their work.

Recently, I hired a contractor who used his own ""plumber"" to install a new shower in my bathroom. He installed a very expensive, complex Toto shower in my tub and completely botched the job, e.g. the cold setting did not run cold water, the hot was scorching, caulk was everywhere, the showerhead was leaking. etc.

Yesterday, I called Bruner Plumbing, and today, Justin and Eric were here to fix the issues and to install a new sink. Ward Bruner had already determined the scope of what needed to be done and had asked me for any part numbers and manuals that I'd saved from the job. His plumbers arrived well-versed and ready to fix all the problems.

What a contrast to the previous plumbers! Justin and Eric were polite and immediately zeroed in on what was wrong. They found numerous issues, and got right to work troubleshooting the list of problems. It was a joy to watch skilled plumbers at work, and I appreciated that they consulted me before making any decisions involving placement of the sink and wand hose. They were eager to please and willing to take on other tasks.

You can't go wrong with this company. Don't mess around with people who might permanently screw up your job. Hire Bruner Plumbing.

I was given Bruner Plumbings name by a friend and was pleased with all the positive reviews I read. First call was answered and told someone would call me back in a little bit. No call. Day later call from them saying someone would call me that afternoon to schedule work. No call. Week later random called by Bruner plumber who left message saying ""answer your phone"" I can come now or maybe later today. Wow by then I had called another company who had professional staff who returned my calls and scheduled me and showed up!

Bruner Plumbing has done three jobs for me in the last 6 years, one a bathroom and all have been on bid, professional and done by courteous staff. I am writing now because I noticed the one bad review and wanted to refute it. The person who wrote, ""Deb"" I see has numerous other reviews, all of which are 1 star and vicious in attacking whatever business is involved.

An honest plumber, folks. I have only used them once, for a repair that looked major. Once digging began, they said it looked to be a much smaller problem, which would cost about a quarter of their estimate to fix. I OK'd the smaller fix (seemed like the thing to do), and they promptly repaired the problem, sent my deposit check back, billed me for the lower fee, and all was good. I need to emphasize that I would never have had any hint of dishonesty if they had gone ahead and done the major repair for the big bucks. I would've had the repair I agreed to at the price I agreed to, after all. They volunteered to take less money for a smaller repair if I was OK with that. As a result, I'm a solid fan.
