We are a comprehensive mechanical contracting firm. The year was 1958; Eisenhower was in office when Wayne Bruner founded a modest mechanical company on the west side of Columbus, Ohio. Business was conducted from a small cement block building, long before the days of computers, faxes, and cell phones. Wayne Bruner was a hands-on contractor who valued personal connections. Up until 1980, Wayne handled much of the work personally, aided by two plumbing service staff.
In 1980, as Wayne Bruner prepared for retirement, F. Randolph Sleeper acquired Bruner Corporation, ushering in a period of change and expansion. Currently, Bruner Corporation is a comprehensive mechanical contracting firm, specializing in preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations, new construction, and enhancing HVAC energy efficiency.

Recommended Customer Reviews
Bruner is the most dysfunctional contractor I have ever worked with. During the installation of a very basic steam system they failed to properly pipe in the condensate returns and improperly installed several PRV's resulting in countless dollars of lost production and downtime. Their inability to take responsibility for their mistakes and rectify the situation has left us with no choice but to take these matters into our own hands and fix these problems ourselves. I give fair warning to everyone else who has a choice in making the decisions to hire contractors to stay away from this company. They are not a good company to work with and I would NOT do business with them ever again even if they did the work for free.
