Bruce is a great guy who does great work if you are lucky enough for him to show up for appointments, so as showing up is part of the job, unfortunately I've gotta give him a low rating.
He's missed two scheduled appointments and I'm now behind the eight ball having plumbing repairs done on my home prior to move-in. I now need to find a plumber in the last minute, which means I could (and likely will) end up paying too much for less than competent work, which pisses me off.
Far less than ideal and not what I wanted to be dealing with during the stress of the move.

(5) ~ Excellent Overall Service! Note: We needed some quick fixes per our recent Home Inspection, and Bruce's Team came out and promptly made the fixes in a very friendly manner. Would definitely recommend and use Bruce's Plumbing again!:)

Showed up early, fixed the problem, reasonably priced. Should have called earlier! Only complaint was the water left on the floor in the basement. But otherwise great - will call them again.

Bruce and his team are awesome. I'm so glad to have found a local plumber that I can trust.

All of his employees are great, but his one employee (I wanna say Jason?) is a fantastic person-- positive, informative, timely, and has a can-do attitude. He just wrapped up a few jobs at my house (rebuild and reconnect our sink, solve a toilet that wouldn't drain, and replace a sewer exhaust plate. I am so happy to have that stuff fixed.

Yes, they're a small, local company, so you're not going to reach Bruce himself every-time you call. But once you leave your message with the answering service, you're bound to hear back in a timely-ish manner. But do you really want to work with a plumber that has tons of time on his hands to call you back at any hour? Or would you rather work with a company that is so good that they're busy. That being said, the response times are very respectable, and the service is unmatched.

Bruce is generous too. When I bought this house, Bruce was the only plumber I got quotes from that told me it would be a waste of money to get a hard water softener. He clearly described why it would be expensive and a pain to maintain, and that other plumbing companies were overselling the need. He was write, and we haven't had any issues at all with the water hardness. Turns out we were just showering with too high of a temperature, which can cause similar skin reactions as hard water would. Thanks for saving us money Bruce! :)

And then when we do have his team do work, they don't cut corners. I'm very satisfied with the level of craftsmanship of today's job. Also, the guy tested his work multiple times before leaving.

Bruce gets it. I used to be a plumber and was working a relatively simple job but running into issues. I reached out to Bruce's Plumbing & Heating because I was ready to give up and hand it over to the professionals. Bruce called me back (in less than 5minutes) and walked me through the fix...""I'd rather gain a customer than a one-time job"". Thanks Bruce!! You've got a customer for life, that's the type of customer service that's missing in so many other places. -Steve

We had a frozen pipe/burst issue because of the inclement weather. I called Bruce and he returned my call back and looking at the urgency of the situation, he told me that someone from his team would be at our place soon. Ryan and Taylor showed up soon and started working right away. They worked for almost 10 straight hours until 1 am finding out and fixing every leak in the water pipe and hot water pipes in the baseboard heater. I can confidently say that they were highly knowledgeable and skillful with lots of experience as they kept referring to some of their past works. We felt really bad for them as more and more leaks kept popping up and it was already too late. However, they were determined to at least get us our heat back before they left for the night which they accomplished. I highly appreciate their work ethics and would definitely hire them again for any future issues. We have been using them since for any plumbing/heating relates issues.

Bruce and his team were great. I had to get my septic line replaced from my house to the street. It was a holiday weekend and Bruce consulted me over the phone about the rates and if I was able to wait until Tuesday he wouldn't have to charge me the extra holiday rates. Being upfront about this really is outstanding and shows they look out for your interests and not just your money. They also found an old 1950s septic tank that there was no knowledge about. They took care of the issue and were extremely reasonable with the cost of remediation. They came out in the morning and were done by mid afternoon. They even reseeded the dug up area with new grass seed and hay.

Called about getting work done for a few minor plumbing repairs. Bruce tells me he will be out the next day between 9:30-11:00 AM. I call their office about 1:30 PM to ask if anyone is still planning on coming out. The woman who answers the phone asks me to repeat all of the information I have already shared and unapologetically tells me someone will call me back. Never received a return phone call. Wasted an entire day waiting for a plumber that showed up or called back.

I didn't personally deal with these guys but my wife did. They were very professional and friendly and came quickly. They fixed my leak and didn't browbeat us. Highly recommended.

My experience with Bruce started off extremely well. He returned my initial call promptly and talked through the minor issues I was having and also provided recommendations for less expensive solutions. We ended the conversation with an agreement that he would call me the upcoming Sunday if he had available time that Monday and if not we had a scheduled appointment for 7am on 3/8. With a no show at 7:30, I called and left a message for Bruce. He returned my call promptly only to tell me that he did not have me on the schedule and I had a responsibility to confirm the appointment and gave the impression that somehow his scheduling issue and no show was the customers fault. Extremely frustrating to someone who works in the service industry and re-arranged their work schedule for the appointment. The unfortunate part is that if he had even been the slightest bit apologetic about the mistake I probably would have still given him the work.
