I woke up to my hot water heater leaking in my basement. We have a baby, so it was imperative to get it fixed quickly. I called Bruce Trano and Sons, and Dee immediately got us scheduled. Matt and Adam showed up within a few hours and installed a new system. They were friendly and professional. We're very grateful for their service.

I called trano for my boiler to see if it could be repaired, since it had not been working.
A man came to my house and instead of speaking to me the landlord. He spoke with my tenant whom he said, ""told him his boiler was not working."" He ended up changing the copper coupling that he claimed was the cause of 1st flr boiler issue. The true problem was, I needed him to check my boiler. I explained that was not the reason why I called you.


If he had spoken to me first, he would have known why he was called. I came to the basement, and had no idea that he was doing work.
The boiler was pilot out, and not the coupling b/c it had been replaced 2 months prior. Plus, I always lit the boiler when it goes out. After, I told my regular plumber what happened. He removed the new coupling and reinstalled previous coupling. It worked fine, and continues to work. The fee $265.00. My plumbers fee $50.00. Next time, a owner calls for service, ask for the person that called you. I never called these over price crooks again.

On Memorial Day weekend my sump pump decided to break and had water everywhere in my finished basement. Called Bruce Trano plumbing and got the recording and then called emergency number which was picked up on the second ring and Stephanie was on top of it right away. She called me back in 5 minutes to let me know someone would be to my house in 30 minutes with a new sump pump. She went even further to help me out and gave me servepro number and offered to help in any way she could. Not only were they here in 30 minutes and professional but Stephanie followed up with me a couple days later just to see how I was doing and how we made out, not to tell me I owed money but simply to check in. Who does that anymore? They do! It shows to me that they care about their clients and that means a lot. I highly recommend them and think they are fantastic.
