I called them last Monday to get a new toilet installed. They told me they'd have someone here Wednesday. My wife called them Wednesday to see what time of day they'd be here. They told her it would be before noon. We waited around all day, no plumber came & no one called us. Then
Thursday morning I called them & asked them what happened. I was told it must have ""fallen thru the cracks"" & they could come for sure that day but I had to go out of town for a Dr. appt so I was told someone would be here Friday afternoon. Guess what happened. No one ever showed up or called. So, like they say, ""fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"". Two days they were scheduled no one came or called. Bruce Plumbing the the last plumber I would ever call. I gave them one star only because there wasn't a zero stars.

tldr; We had a home inspector's report with pictures that detailed two drainage leaks. I called Bruce Plumbing and paid $110 for the guy to completely misdiagnose one leak and to not even look at the other leak that was clearly visible without having to crawl under the house. Ben was there for a toal of 20 minutes. Called a different plumber who actually read the report when I handed it to him and he diagnosed the visible issue for $0. Do not call Bruce Plumbing unless you are ok with spending $110 for nothing.

Full Story: We are in the process of selling our home and had a home inspection that revealed leaks in the drainage pipes under both the sink and the guest bathtub. I called Bruce Plumbing Co on Monday morning and Ben came out around lunchtime. The first thing that I did was show him the inspectors report that included pictures of the areas leaking from under the house. He looked under kitchen sink and discovered that there was an issue the seal around our undermount sink. He claimed this was the issue under the sink and was ready to write me a bill and leave at this point. I questioned him about the leak under the tub and he took one glance under the house and saw that there was a bunch of water from the rain and told me that I would have to rent a pump to pump that out before he would get under there. I understand he didn't want to go under there since we had received a ton of rain over the weekend. But doesn't the plumber have a pump to use instead of having me go rent one? After questioning him he said he would set up a time later in the week for him to come back and set up a pump. I had to write him a check for $110 for 20 minutes of time and way more questions than answers. I recieved a call back from their dispatcher soon afterwards wanting to set up another appointment for Ben to come back and drain the water under the house. I told her that after the visit I didn't have much confidence in Ben's accessment because he didn't even address the issues on the report and I had to ask him to look under the house. She said that she would tell the owner about our experience. But the owner sure didn't have an issue cashing our check after hearing about our dissatisfaction.

We ended up calling another plumber come out that afternoon. Upon arrival he actual paid attention to the report and looked at the pictures. He looked under the sink where Ben found the issue and said that wasn't it. We just needed a better seal on the undermount sink. He then took his flashlight and looked under the house while we turned the water on. He immediately saw the leak under the tub and it was worse than we thought. He looked for the other leak, but wasn't able to see it from the two access points under the house. That plumber came back a few days later after some dry weather and fixed both leaks for a very reasonable price. No pump needed. What a completely different experience we had from the experience of using Bruce Plumbing.

Great service. When I called at 0800 they were booked through the day. After explaining my situation the operator had someone to my home by 1PM. Service man was great and did his best to educate me on how to fix the issue next time before I call. Very reasonable price for all that was done. Will definitely be a return customer.
