We were not happy with Bruce Nelson Plumbing and Heating. Our condo association called them to look at the boiler and a few individual condos had issues they hoped to fix. My tenant said the plumber looked at the leaky radiator and said, ""These radiators are dinosaurs. We can't fix them, you should just watch a YouTube video to figure out how to fix it yourself"". We were charged $120 for this and other condos were also charged the same rate for nothing (one got a discount since the BN plumber broke the thermostat when balancing their radiator). For our leaky radiator issue, we called McQuilian Brothers and they were efficient, knowledgeable, and they fixed the problem.

Bruce Nelson Plumbing saved us on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. My husband was attempting to install a new kitchen faucet that evening, but our quirky old house had other plans. Have you ever tried to get an emergency plumber the night before a major holiday? It's almost impossible. Matt was the only person who returned our calls (promptly, I may add), and sent his on-call plumber, Mike, to help us. Mike replaced our pipes under the sink in less than an hour, and got everything working perfectly. No other company could get anyone out earlier than Friday, so we would have been without water for 2 days because we had to shut off our main water supply, unless we wanted to flood our whole house. Mike was very prompt, courteous, and professional, and the price was probably as good as you could get for after-hours emergency service!

We have had multiple plumbers come to do ""work"" but it wasn't until John from Bruce Nelson's came that we finally had our issues resolved. He even noticed other water issues without me bringing them to his attention. That rarely happens in the service world these days!! He did great work and we definitely will be using their company again.

Incredible! Honest people, trustworthy work. Due to other plumbers poor work, I've had to call Bruce Nelson in to fix it. They do GREAT work, are totally trustworthy and all-in-all honest. And when they can't fix the issue, they refer to others Even their referrals have been fantastic! Wouldn't trust anyone else! Thank you BN!

DON'T DO IT!!!!!! I contacted Bruce Nelson Plumbing for a properly scoped out bid for plumbing services on a possible waste stack problem. They refused to provide a bid only said they could send a service technician so u scheduled it. They confirmed the day prior & I asked for an estimated number as I'm paying cash. They told me Bob the estimator would call me early afternoon. Bob didn't call and when I called later in the day the office was closed. Apparently Bob cancelled my service visit and didn't even have the courtesy of calling me. I took off work to address this so now I'm out of 3 hours of work plus no resolve. Bob called the morning of at 8:03a to respond to my message and say they are not coming to an appointment scheduled for 3 mins prior!!! The estimator, Bob, is outright unprofessional in his communications and follow through. If these sewer odors weren't horrendous & I wasn't in dire need, I would have not even have entertained this shop from the beginning. Their labor charges were low in comparison so I was willing to further consider them, but there's a reason. The Office Manager just said ""sounds like this won't work."" He outright didn't even want to deal with me. I expressed disappointment in how they handle their clients. DO NOT USE! Read the other reviews. I should have.

They did work for us in multiple ways at our commercial property. Their method is to do the minimum on the work order, regardless of what is needed. We had to get other plumbers to get a sink functioning after they left, and to address a major sewage overflow. I was able to get the double billing issue resolved, but am out thousands of dollars for repairs following the hook up of new sewer lines to an old and broken pipe. Had they scoped the condition of the pipe before connecting to it, the very nasty overflow would never have happened. Their attitude was to blame us for the problems. Very poor grade!

I would not recommend this company. They charged me $154 just to show up. I refused the work, and their ""estimate"" fee was $154. The plumber was not at my house for longer than 5 minutes. And I refused the charge, and yet they still charged my card. I was told the office manager would call me back, s/he never did and my card was charged. If you want to get screwed over, go for it. Otherwise, I would go with another company.
