Can't recommend Bruce or this company since they've never gotten back to me regarding an estimate even after multiple follow-up attempts.
When I called Bruce initially, he seemed pleasant and said his guys could swing by to take a look at a leak I was having at one of the pipes in my front lawn area. I texted him some pictures as well.
Over the course of the next 2 weeks, I've contacted him and no response. Whether or not the job was too small or what I will never know. However, I think it's common courtesy to tell a customer if they can't do a job rather than just avoid your calls and texts - very unprofessional.

When every I have had plumbing problems large or small I call Swift Plumbing. Bruce and his very experienced crew get on it and handled it Swiftly. Honest as honest can be and the pricing is as fair as fair can be. One less big home and commercial issue I never had to worry about here at my home or at my business locations. I have been 10,000 miles away from home on business and never missed a beat closing a deal. I knew any issues would get done the right way. If plumbing problems freak you out, relax and call Swift Plumbing and let the experts handle the problem. You'll live longer, I have. Thanks for always being there for us Bruce!

I have used Bruce since 2016, and I have been very happy with his services. Mark, who works for him, is just the nicest and has done a lot of work at our house too. I do admit sometimes Bruce is hard to get a hold of or doesn't call back quickly, but it's because he is so busy, which is a good sign. I know that if we had an emergency he would be over quickly. I highly recommend him and his team. We have never had any issues with their work.

So thankful for Bruce Games swift plumbing. They are always quick to respond to my calls and show up when they say they will. I would highly recommend swift plumbing

Nope. Not happening. But it was a tricky job, I'll give him that. The kitchen faucet being replaced - and the sink it was being put on - were originals from the 50s. ( we just needed the faucet replaced ) We contacted Bruce Games Swift Plumbing on the recommendation of a reputable and trusted contractor here on the West Side. He told us to mention his name to Bruce. We did. Following a consultation for $55, their guy recommends that we buy a faucet/sprayer combo somewhere. (They wouldn't do this.) So my wife finds one. We text the photos and intel directly to Bruce Games' mobile. He replies that it should be fine. A couple days later he comes out to do the install. He pulled the old unit out, looked it over and said; ""Well, it's old but if anybody can do this, it's me."" Bold, but cool! I was actually very glad to hear that! At some point soon after that utterance, he realized it was trickier than anticipated and he needed to make a run to Torrance for parts. We appreciated that effort. But here's where the fun begins. The oldness of the sink and faucet made any ""streamlined replacement"" impossible. No, it would require ingenuity and finesse...the former of which, Bruce seems to be in short supply of. While Bruce made the run to Torrance, I crawled underneath the sink with my camera to see what was up. Upon his return, I showed him my photos and suggested a reasonable and way doable fix. He waved that off and proceeded to install the faucet his way; using EPOXY to hold the faucet-mount in place, with no brackets or anything. Right. Just epoxy...to fasten a kitchen faucet, sprayer and mounting plate. So, he finishes the job then wraps painter's tape around the faucet and sink, as a reminder to ""be real careful"" while the epoxy sets. He gives the faucet a gentle shake...it rocks back and forth. I ask him; ""How is that supposed to work?"" He says; ""Give it 24-48 hours and it should be okay but, if not, here's the name of a metal fabricator that can make something for that bracket-fix solution you suggested."" Yelper...we were super gentle with that faucet. For 3 days, just ""to be sure"", we babied it, cooed to it and psychically willed it to epoxy-super-grip glory. But even during that extra-gingerly use, doing the basic things like swiveling the faucet - or turning it off and on - were too much for that b.s. epoxy job - and it began rocking loose. Of COURSE it didn't work. Now, we need the metal fabricator guy. Idiotic me lost the card. So I call Bruce's' mobile and leave a message. No response. The next day, I text him on that existing text string with the faucet photos...nothing. I text 3 more times. NOTHING.
Fast forward a couple of days. Our handyman happened to be here for another job and my wife told him the faucet story. He crawls underneath and says; ""Aw, man...this is easy!"" He runs to Depot, picks up a couple of bolts and nuts that cost less than $5 and, in less than 1/2 an hour...it's fixed, solid and beautiful. How'd he do it? By doing the exact thing I suggested to Mr. Bruce ""I'm Doing It My Way"" Games.
OK. I get that ""If anybody can do it"", you can. But guess what?
You didn't. And you can't.

He seems to be more focused on his existing longtime customers or customers in certain neighborhoods. He was very nice to me in my initial call, until I told him my neighborhood. Then he upcharged me on a quote to just come by and inspect which a good friend of mine (who lives in Manhattan Beach) who uses him in a different neighborhood said was way more than he charges her for the same job. Then, when I told him I was still interested, he just never called me back. I am convinced that he simply wants to work in certain neighborhoods or for certain types of customers (maybe close to his home or something, maybe other reasons, hmmm), and blows off other LA neighborhoods, east of LaCienega. Too bad for him. Anyway, I found another plumber who did the job very well, and will get my business and tons of referrals as a result.

I needed to replace my main sewer line running to the street. I had many estimates and was considering all the possible methods (digging a trench, lining, pipe pull).
After all the bids were in I decided to use Bruce. His estimate was very reasonable and was confident that a pipe pull would work well. Also He had done our sewer under the house a few years back and that went well.
The job required a 6 foot deep hole to be dug in the grass next to the sidewalk and a small shallow hole to be dug at the top of the driveway. The whole project went extremely smooth. The most impressive part is that you can't tell any work was done. All the grass went back perfectly and his cement guy reused our existing bricks when he patched the hole in the driveway. He couldn't reuse all of them but did a great job matching the old bricks. The cement patch looks perfect. Super impressed with the quality of the whole job.

We had a sewer problem that needed to be addressed immediately. After calling numerous plumbers recommended by friends and getting nothing but recordings, I finally got on Next Door and was thrilled to be referred to Swift Plumbing.
Bruce answered the phone and although he had a job to take care of, he sent Mark out and in a matter of minutes, Mark had the tree roots broken up and all was good. Mark did not try to sell my husband new pipes, a monthly service to ensure that this won't happen again or anything else we didn't need. We needed our clean out cap to stay on, we needed the roots broken up so sewage wouldn't be in the street and making its way down to the ocean and we needed a plumber with integrity that we are now able to refer. Plumbing problems can be crappy, call Bruce Games Swift Plumbing and breathe easy, they are fabulous.

It is with gratitude and respect I write this review. If I wrote with the enthusiasm I feel and the depth of my appreciation, I am afraid the readers would dismiss the entry as overstatement. So I will simply write that Bruce Games and his assistants saved my home. Not just this last time but over and again over many years. Swift plumbing is respectful of its customers' practical needs. They get the work done expertly, skillfully, promptly and care-fully. They recently fixed my sewer line --- a REALLY BIG UNDERTAKING! They worked diligently and finished the huge huge project in one day! They dodged rain, roots and a very nervous me. Bruce kept me informed. His experience and knowledge and skill led to a totally successful solution. I trust the expertise, business integrity and kindness of Swift Plumbing. Sometimes Los Angeles can feel like a survival of the fittest Darwinian experiment. When things go wrong, it can be very very hard to find honest, reliable, competent and reasonable assistance. Bruce Games, Swift Plumbing, is an exception to this challenge. Bruce's work is ALWAYS efficient, effective, and expert. Because of Swift Plumbing, my house plumbing is intact. My garden was spared. And the cost was respectful and appropriate. In no way was I taken advantage of because I am a person without expertise. Without reservation, I recommend Swift Plumbing.

If you are looking for a good plumber, then we would highly recommend Bruce Games Swift Plumbing.
We were experiencing a minor plumbing issue that needed attention and we reached out to Bruce after reading the yelp reviews. He called us back the same day and quickly scheduled an appointment that worked best for us. He showed up on time, diagnosed the issue and came back the next morning with parts to fix it.
Bruce seems very knowledgeable and throughout the process was polite & communicative. His rates are also very reasonable.
We will definitely call on him for any future plumbing needs.
