BRS Mechanical's faulty plumbing work resulted in the complete destruction of our newly built home. After moving in we initially had a small flood under an upstairs sink where a connection had somehow come undone, but luckily we were home that time and were able to stop the flooding and repair the damage done to our first floor ceiling before it could flood our entire house.

Afterwards, we had been living in our new house, built by Old Town Design Group, for six months when we returned home one day to find that our entire house had been flooded with continuous hot water the same way but this time from a different upstairs bathroom from the top floor down to the basement. BRS Mechanical, our builder's plumbing contractor, came to the scene with Old Town Design Group employees and we were told by both that due to an installation error the hot water connection underneath the upstairs sink had come undone, causing the flood. This was the explanation we were given, and not until weeks later were we suddenly told by Old Town Design Group that it was now a ""part failure"" and that neither BRS Mechanical or Old Town Design Group would be taking any responsibility for what had occurred. Old Town stated that this was not covered by our warranty. How could this part have failed two times in our home but no one else's in Old Town's newly built neighborhood or their others? It was pure negligence on BRS and Old Town's part. This flood destroyed most of our belongings and required us to move out of our house for seven months while it was rebuilt. The project included a gutting and mold remediation and rebuild of the inside of our house on all floors, all at the expense of our insurance company. But through this entire experience after the day of the flood we never heard anything at all from BRS Mechanical regarding this incident. They take no responsibility for what happened and neither does Old Town Design Group. Shame on BRS Mechanical and Old Town Design Group.

I was lifelined from Division road on April 2, 2019. I nor my family never got to thank your hero employee for stopping and rendering help. Please thank him from the bottom of our hearts. God bless him and your company!

Our builder subcontracted to BRS. We contacted BRS after finding an exhaust pipe leaking in our basement. BRS inspected the problem and stated that the pipe was never connected to the sump pump and it would only take 20 minutes to fix, but they couldn't come until 3 days later to fix the problem that was their own mistake! After calling the office back to request an earlier time (since we're expecting rain again) the man laughed at the request to have the ""20 minute"" fix completed the same day. Horrible customer service to follow up with work that was completed with mistakes.
