Wouldn't give me the time of day
Go across the street to Larry's plumbing if you're looking for parts there customer service was excellent

I had searched reviews since I felt completely taken by Browns and discovered a review that was word for word what my experience was. Called because I needed a pipe repaired that had been cut and duct taped by my ex. I was told it would be $185/hr and someone would be here between 10-12. I called at 1:30 since no show- guy showed up at 2:30 only to tell me he could not do a repair since the pipe was cut. I was surprised since that was the reason he was out- to make the repair to the cut pipe. Told me it was 3-4 hour job. he'd go back to the office and turn in my information and I would get a call to the cost. Several calls later so I could get the cost estimate- was told it would be $1800 + tax, and would need a new toilet as well so add another $219 + tax. When asked why so high, well, it would take 2 guys- one to hold the pipe but to be nice I would only be charged 1/2 price for the 2nd guy. So, $2K for a repair that actually took one hour, one person, $350.00, and no need for a new toilet by going with someone else. I will NEVER call Browns or recommend their dishonest way of doing business. Absolute disgrace and disappointment - so much for trying to support this local business.

Not a good experience at all. Overpriced... bad service.
Charged me $600 to fix toilet...broke the toilet... then wanted $400 to fix it!
Never again... never never

We just recently bought a new hot tub from Browns Plumbing in Marysville. We appreciated the upfront and honest owners that helped us with our purchase. They made the process quick and easy. The Hot Tub is top quality and their customer service is over the top! They held our Hot Tub until we were ready and delivered it to our home. We will definitely be recommending Browns Plumbing to all our friends and family!

Oh man.
After my previous review, I was THRILLED with Geoffrey's professionalism and customer service....but my visit from his employees in june just felt like a waste of $200+ dollars. They were messy, took a lot of smoke breaks and had no answers.
Geoffrey called me back as I was typing this review in June and offered me a discount on having a guy come out to flush the line....guy came out and said we didn't need it.
Anywho we just finished demolishing the whole bathroom, still never diagnosed anything, not sure what the deal was, but if you call these guys just make sure you are prepared to clean up after them.
If you need a few minutes for a quick fix over the phone though, Geoffrey is your man!

I recently purchased a hot water tank from browns plumbing and had them install it. I am a bit puzzled by how much they charged for labor, and as to why my identical hot water tank and installation cost me so much more than my neighbors.
Before the installers arrived, I had the old tank drained, the supply lines disconnected, the power to the tank shut off and the electrical disconnected. When they arrived they asked me why if I did all of that myself, why didn't I just install it myself. My neighbors said they paid just a little over a $1,000.00 for their tank and installation, (from Browns, a few months earlier). I was surprised that mine was just over $1,500.00. The other thing that surprised me was the labor rate. I read online comments that they charged $170.00 an hour and thought that was what I was going to be charged. I was taken by surprise that when I was presented with the bill that the labor was $275.00 an hour! Yes, there were two employees to install the tank, but, one of them did nothing but help move the tank which was about 25 feet.
I was also a little upset that the price of the 50 gallon hot water tank was I was told at the store was $638.00 and the expansion tank was about $60.00. I was charged $669.00 for the tank and $79.95 for the expansion tank, and $82.50 for a stainless make up, (whatever that is). I was also charged a $30.00 trip charge and another $30.00 for them to take away my old hot water tank.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for a company and its employees making a living wage. But I can't help but feel that I was over charged.
Long story short I don't think I would use them again for my plumbing needs.

I had a clogged sewer line. Brown's Plumbing quoted a price $350 or $450 if they had to access from toilet. They sent out a guy who punched a hole in sewer line outside of foundation for ""code""( although Roto Router never required it.) Anyway, he tries to clean out the sewer line, but supposedly can't because there are roots in the line. He tells me I need to have someone dig up the line where the clog is located. It's the last I hear from him until I get his $546 bill for his work. ( Are we giving out participation awards?). I had another plumber come over to clear the clog and scope the line to locate the problem. Done.
Why Brown's Plumbing sent over a plumber who is unable to clear the clog is beyond reason. Do not waste your time, Thanks Mike

While trying to find my sewer line outside cracked open my outdoor water line. I called and asked when they were coming to repair it. They told me the pipe was old cheap stuff and I should replace it all anyway. Not to mention they guy that came back the second time when I found the pipe was drinking a beer and then left drinking the same beer. Wouldnt have them near the place again.

TERRIBLE customer service. My in laws are in their 70s and only asked for help because they don't know anything about their pool because their oldest son usually helps them but he is very sick right now. So when the guy got to their home, he was there for maybe 5 minutes and gave them a box of chemicals and did not explain to them how to use any of them. When they asked how to use them since they don't know anything about pools, the man said to them ""Read the labels!"" Then left them with an almost $400 bill. They went in to talk to the owner who was equally rude. The owner told them ""if they are there for 5 minutes or an hour, it doesn't matter, you are getting charged for the service fee."" Ok but problem is, no one helped them and just handed them a box of chemical and told them to read the labels, so how exactly was that any help?! The owner also asked them ""what, you don't know how to read the labels?"" Incredibly rude and to treat elderly people that way when they just need some help is sickening. I do not reccomend this company to anyone!!

They are a little pricey. But they have always been so helpful when it comes to pool care, and very nice every time I have came in.
