We remodeled our kitchen and Brown was the plumbing subcontractor. Because they failed to tighten a valve on the faucet line under the sink, water slowly leaked under the hardwood floors and eventually collapsed the basement ceiling. The hardwood floors had to be removed and replaced, as did the drywall in the basement. Brown's fault was confirmed by two other plumbers as well as the original contractor, but Brown's owner refused to apologize and only agreed to cover the cost of remediation after litigation was threatened.
