Subject: Concerns over excessive billing for Plumbing services (replacing a faucet) Cost of the Faucet was given to me over the phone. $193.00 Labor to install the faucet $556.99 total Rip Off DO NOT give your Credit crd over the phone. BEWARE. I am writing to address the charge I received for the plumbing work completed at my residence on 12 April 2023. There are no details in the invoice for the plumbing work completed at my residence. I have included the bill in this letter/fax. During our initial phone conversation, I was provided with an estimated maximum cost of $750 for the service and the plumber asked me for my credit card number which I gave to him. While the invoice does not exceed the agreed maximum cost, it still appears higher than what I believe the actual cost should have been based on the work performed. Furthermore, the invoice lacks itemization, making it difficult to understand the breakdown of charges for labor, materials, and any other associated costs. I followed up with the plumber by phone conversation, during which I requested an itemized invoice for the plumbing work completed. The invoice I received after our conversation is still not itemized to my satisfaction. In fact, there is a discrepancy between the total amount on the second invoice I received for the plumbing work completed and the charge made to my credit card. The discrepancy is concerning. The technician was here twice. The first time to diagnose the problem, and the second time to fix the faucet. The technician was here not more than 90 minutes on the 2nd visit and 30 minutes maximum on the first visit. Total of 2 hours. I asked the technician for a work log to sign after the work was finished to help ensure transparency and accuracy in billing but none of this was produced. He said the office will send me this information later. I did receive the first bill which I am including in this dispute, and I received a different bill after I called the plumber disputing the charge. Upon reviewing the invoice and considering the scope of work performed, I believe the total amount charged to my credit card is excessive. I did agree to pay $193 for the replacement faucet but based on my understanding of the work done and the industry standards, the cost should have been considerably lower. I find the cost of $556.00 installing a faucet to be excessive and this is what I'm disputing. The most I'd pay is $300.00 for labor and the faucet for a total of $493.00.

I called them because we had a water leak on a property on Tamarac, I spoke by phone with a operator Dave . He told me that the cost of the 1st visit to check the leak to give me an estimate to fix it was $50 and also he said that his technician will be there between 11 am and 12 . But right here start the history, the technician came to the property around 2 pm he was very disrespectful with my wife because she doesn't spoken a good English, also he only walked around the property with his cellphone on his hand for around 10 minutes without doing anything .Before the technician leave, him tried to take advantage telling my wife to pay $250 for the visit with her credit card ,obviously she refused to pay it . She telling him that the deal by phone was $50 .Later the office manager Dave called me yelling and upset requesting my Credit card number to make a charge the $250 for the 10 minutes visit and talking Bsh about my wife language ,telling me the cost to repair the leaks ($6500 .total). Finally my wife only paid $50 and she found a very good plumber that made the work only for $800. Really this company is very disrespectful with the costumer, dishonest with the deals that they offer for the 1st visit with the price and the work that they do and also the prices that they give to make the repairs are very overpriced. Honestly is one of the most horrible experience we have ever been.

Took advantage of my elderly mom by changing 4x what the job should've been. Also, we had to call a sprinkler guy after the system stopped running. Turns out the plumber left without turning the irrigation main back on which had NOTHING to do with the job. Also, I had to replace a toilet valve & another spigot immediately after the plumber visit so I suspect something wasn't done right. Totally feel scammed. Will NEVER call them again.

I'm very happy with there costumer service. They were at my house with 30 minutes. They fixed the problem same day. I would recommend them to anyone that needs plumbing.

Not cost efficient! Will recommend calling and explaining job details before sending them out!

Our gas tankless water heater broke and we needed a replacement right away. Plus we needed a master plumber certified to work on gas lines. We called Broward plumbing and they sent someone out immediately to determine what was needed and find a replacement. They found the same unit and it was quoted the same price we would have paid for it at home depot. They installed it that night. Also the responsiveness and courtesy and professionalism were top notch. David in the office and John the plumber were amazing and we would call them again in a heartbeat if we had another problem.

I could write a short novel about my experience with Broward Plumbing but I am done wasting my time, tired of being fed lies and promises all for a good review & ultimately just sick of getting worked up over it. Just avoid at all costs.

I described to them that I had a clogged toilet. I tried using a 25ft snake myself but it wouldn't clear it. They told me for $50 they would come to see what would fix this issue. No problem. First, their tech came late. Once he looked at it he used a longer snake and it was fixed. Probably spent about an hour at my house. I then get a phone call from their office saying i owed $425. WHAT!?!? I asked what their labor rate is, I was told they didn't go by labor rate they go by job. This was not an emergency service, just a normal appointment and no other parts were needed except the longer snake. I felt taken advantage of. Would not recommend and would not use again.

I only have two words regarding this company for anyone looking for a plumber """"stay away"""" or maybe three """"find someone else."""" David to me they charged $50.00 to send someone to check for a leak, however that became $254 after the plumber discovered the leak source, that became $555 after David said it would take 2 or 3 hours to repair. The actual repair took less than 30 minutes and a hole in my wall. David said he would email and text me a receipt. After 3 days and no receipt I called him and he said he would send it right away...I am still waiting.

What a ripoff: stay away from this company. We ask for a quote for to repair a leak outside the house, They send young David: no experience, no plumbing knowledge, no plumbing license, a pushy salesman that was only interested in selling an expensive job but not to repair the problem. Charged us $99 for a repair quote that he never sent. Call a reputable plumbing company , there are many good ones around.
