There are very few ""real"" plumbing stores in Sacramento any longer. I arrived at 7:30 to find they open at 8 a.m. My bad. It just seems like a plumbing store would open earlier for true plumbing contractors. Maybe they don't want that segment of business.

My first experience was hooking up our new natural gas BBQ and the connection I had was not right. I explained what I was doing and got he me the parts that I needed and sent me on my way! It's was such a great customer service experience. I went again to get steel pipes for shelving and they took to time to show me what I needed and cut the pipes to the lengths we needed. I had to install a garbage disposal and I had never done that before. I took pictures of what I needed and they got me the new disposal and the correct connections to make it work. Thank you! And this past week we went back and ask about instant hot water! We told them that we had a tankless water heater and our hot water to hotter faster! He sold Us a pump that works amazingly well. It was installed in no time. Easy to use! I will never buy from the big box stores when it comes to plumbing. You guys are the best!

I was first introduced to Brothers plumbing as a little girl when my dad would bring me along to run his errands for house projects. Happy to say now as a homeowner myself this is my husband and I's one stop shop for anything bathroom or kitchen related for our home. Always friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you don't see something in the showroom that you quite had in mind, just ask and they are more likely able to get it ordered for you. They were very patient with us and made sure we were taken care of.

I just want to say how wonderful the guys in this store are. Being a woman and walking into a hardware-like store can be intimidating and dismissive. I appreciate the staff treating me with respect and explaining every thing I need to finish my project. I highly recommend this store for women or anyone who wants to be taken seriously. Thank you!!!

I walked into Brothers Plumbing Store for some advice. I didn't know exactly what the promise was with my houses plumbing, but their employee TJ stopped what he was doing and provided me with excellent advice. His advice solved my problem. I love this store and they provide excellent customer service.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Called Brothers plumbing up looking for a part for my existing shower valve stem. The A-hole behind the phone said he had the .56 cent piece, as a matter of fact had 10 of them and that I can have them for 5.00$ a piece. He continued ""you can buy it for 5$/piece, or pay 30$ for a new valve stem"". I said, I'd gladly pay 2$/piece for the .56 cent piece but found 5$ to be a bit much. He said, ""Yeah, Sorry got to pay for the electric bill and radio music"" Needless to say I will NEVER do business with this company and advise people not to deal with such extortionist!

Good day and god bless,
Tony

I'm puzzled by the many 5-star reviews, which is what led us to this store in the first place. We were underwhelmed to say the least, even a bit annoyed.

We visited twice, for two different issues surrounding our bathroom remodel. Both times, we spoke at some length to one of the employees, growing increasingly confused by the conflicting information. Both times, the product information they ultimately gave us was completely wrong. As to technical advice, they went directly to ""You'll need to discuss that with your plumber."" In our case, that would mean talking to ourselves, so uhm . . . thanks?

My wife explained that she was doing the plumbing, and the two men looked at her slackjawed. ""You are going to do the soldering?"" they asked. Soldering. Yeah. It's not a big deal. But that they seemed to think so may help explain why their technical advice was to ""contact a plumber.""

Now possibly they didn't understand our concerns. But they indicated that they did, and the information they gave us was flat out wrong. It didn't seem right at the time while we were in the store, so we left each time. And upon further research came to understand that they were simply out and out wrong! Had we followed their guidance on what to buy, which would have been a special order, we would have ended up with parts that would not work at all for our situation.

Compounding the misinformation is the pricing, which run 30-50% higher than the same items online or in big box stores.

We gave them two tries, in which we really wanted to like them. We need some solid advice and guidance and had hoped to find it here. It was not, and at those prices and inconvenient location, I can't think of a good reason to return for a third bite at the apple.
