Though they were the only plumber available to come out after hours to fix a water pipe break due to a freeze, they did not communicate with me after on their recommendations to fix the issue permanently. This happened Monday early evening, I called Tuesday, no call back. I called Wednesday asking for a bid for the additional work and an invoice to be sent for the work already done and a call back. It is 4:30 on Wednesday. Still no call. Wow. This is a small town, and I have a big mouth.

This time we got Ray.

It was a big project, with a hard deadline as the property was a vacation rental with incoming guests, as he very well knew when he took the job. He was consistently hours late, always ""on the way,"" and worked very slowly. The day of the deadline he arrived late, worked for a couple of hours, then left early. Of necessity we extended the deadline until 11am the following morning, when we absolutely had to be out of the house so cleaners could prepare it for guests arriving at 4pm. Ray asked the reason for the deadline, which my husband explained, yet again. Ray arrived at 12:30pm. I sat outside in the driveway all afternoon waiting for him to finish so we could leave, while my husband did everything he could to expedite Ray's progress, including digging and refilling a ditch for him. At 3:30pm Ray cheerfully asked me how it was going, and I reminded him that 30 minutes remained before check-in time. Ray then told me he didn't know we had guests coming in. At 4:15pm he left, the job barely complete-- there was a lot of clean-up to do and the water system was not set up properly.

We will not hire this company again.

Update: adding injury to insult, we've subsequently learned that some connections were miswired and had to be redone.

Among people in this neighborhood Brothers doesn't have a very good reputation. They seem to not honor their commitments. However, they have done an adequate job for me. This was a complete re-do of my pump house. The inflow valves from three water catchment tanks were plastic and getting very sticky. While there I had him replumb the rest of the old plastic in the pump house. Only one problem. He changed the routing of water and put the UV filter before the particle filters. I questioned him about this but he told me that was the right way to do it. That evening I dug out the instructions for the UV filter and discovered he had hooked it up backwards. Called the office and he came back the next day and corrected it. I somehow got the idea he was doing me a favor. He charged me for the extra materials but not labor. So, instead of a nice neat job it's a mess of criss cross plumbing so he could bail himself out of the mess he created.

I had Brothers Plumbing replace an above ground water spigot. It worked fine until several months later a crack in the underground plastic pipe appeared and water came to the surface. I called Brothers Plumbing to repair it. They did after a long wait. Months later, the 3 phase electrical line that supplies power to my house had an open on one phase.
I requested Brothers Plumbing to come dig up the area under the water spigot so a splice could be applied to the wiring. Brothers Plumbing offered to charge me $60 an hour to dig access to the wires.
I feel they nicked the insulation and electrolysis caused the damage to the wiring that happened directly under the water spigot.
My advice is steer clear of a company that doesn't back the quality of their work!

Terrible service. Woman who answers the phone is rude. They don't show up when they are supposed to, then don;t even call to say they are running late, just leave you hanging.
I will never call these people ever again.

Absolutely no follow through on their jobs. I literally had to coordinate all request for service by calling on a Monday and waiting the entire week for a call back just to get a excuse as to why they never showed up or called back. My request to fix a leaking pipe in my drive way has taken them 3 months to fix and now I have a hole in my drive way they are refusing to fill! Concrete debris and dirt remain next to the hole and they said they are finished with the job! This is of coarse is after I spoke with a worker that said someone would be back to sand and cap the hole and remove the debris ""next week"".

Had someone come out to give me a bid to fix my washers drain, told me he would get back to me the following Monday he cam to check it out on a Friday. That was now 13 days ago called 3 days ago and talked to someone to see if I could get my bid. She said she would have the guy call me and that she was sorry it took so long. Still haven't heard anything.. Needless to say WASTE of time.

I called Brothers 2 weeks ago to get a bid. Made it very easy for them by emailing the home inspectors report. They said because of the holiday they were backed up. Ok no problem, I called again a week later, still please give us more time. I called 2 days ago and they lost my home inspection report. So I resent and still haven't heard back. They can't even provide a quote so I can only provide 1 Star. I went with Coon plumbing instead.

Six days without water and nearly $3,000.00 to replace a septic pump. This does not include the cost to stay at a hotel or to pump out the septic tank. Add another $2,000.00.
Even after talking to ROGER (one of the owners) at length and explaining in great detail how badly they performed, etc. etc. Now, ten days later he has not bothered to call me back with any sort of explanation. In retrospect, the call with ROGER had a very patronizing overtone to it. That is what prompted me to write this. So clearly they will listen, and do nothing.
What I will say is to strongly suggest you find another plumbing company.
If I could have I would have given them NO stars.
For you crooked ROGER. ""You can shear the sheep many times. You can only slaughter him once""!!!
