Incredibly unprofessional!!
on 6/6/2016 i contacted them to complete a backflow water test for a rental property that i own. i emailed them the paperwork that needed to be filled out. Since they had done the exact same test 2 years prior, i though it would be easy. It should have been no problem right? NO way!
I got a call back the next day assuring me that the test would be completed and the paperwork would be done and sent it to the water district. i was also informed that the price would to $75 ($10 higher than the previous year) - no problem, i agreed to it.
Fast forward 8 days, my renter calls me to say the water district is about to cut off their water service because the test was not completed. I call up Brothers/email them, no response. I had to call the Water district to buy some more time, which i was able to get another 2 days.
2 days later Brothers calls me back saying they had not received the paperwork and hence they were delayed (mind you they didn't even call me to ask for it for a week). This was the first flag, i had indeed sent them the paperwork in my original email. On top of that, the person told me it was going to cost $90 because ""you are an hour away from us"". I told the person that i was originally quoted $75 within the promised time-frame, which had now passed... he said im sorry, can t help you.
Knowing i was pressed against time, they were able to extort a really high charge for this service. On top of that i didn't even get a copy of the paperwork until i requested it.
I must say, these guys were good once upon a time, now they are just unprofessional, liars who make false promises. Very disappointing

When I called the office the person who answered was very nice. When Jim showed up to work on installing my water heater he was very friendly. The price was very reasonable!! I highly recommend Brothers Plumbing and Heating!!!

Very rude person handling the operator duties. I called to get a quote on a repair for a house I am in escrow. The agent would only tell me it costs $89 to come out and look at the house. Would give no other info, thanks but there are plenty of other companies out there who care about potential clients that are going to spend 3K+ on repairs

Everyone I spoke to at Brothers was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially John, who went above and beyond to help me.

I spoke with him on the phone first and he immediately understood what was wrong from the limited information I was able to explain about my problem. He spent time talking with me about it and never made me feel rushed or like any question was too dumb. He even was able to stop by that same day while he was out running other errands, to confirm the situation.

It turns out that the repair I needed was quite expensive, but not urgent. It would mean not having heat, but in SoCal, that's not a big deal for me. John didn't try to sell me on anything and from the very beginning and multiple times throughout, reminded me that I didn't HAVE to do this repair, and that the AC and other parts of the unit would still work perfectly fine without the need for the heating repair.

I really appreciate his availability to answer my multiple phone calls and questions, his friendliness, and most importantly, his honesty.

When I do decide to make the repair, I will definitely be calling John.

I have had Brothers Plumbing out on 3 occasions now, and all have been GREAT! The first was for a Condo I closed in Newport Beach and the other a house in Huntington Beach and then I referred Jim to a family member. They have always shown up clean and been professional on every occasion! Pricing has been fair and work excellent ... I would recommend Brothers anytime!

I've been using Brothers Plumbing since 4 years ago when I clogged my garbage disposal with beet peels...yes...that's right, I caused the problem. Since my first introduction to these nice gents, they were helpful explaining the issues, speedy, professional and definitely reasonable in price. The reason for my review of late, is that I purchased an older home, and the home needed a water heater, air conditioning repair work and various plumbing- Brothers (both Jim and John helped us) always returned the call promptly, set the expectation on when they can come do the work, talked about pricing before coming out and were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them over and over for their outstanding work ethic and professionalism.

The repair technician was John, He did a wonderful job,. Was fast and knew right away what the problem was on my Moms old unit, he said he would be her by 3 and was (surprised me that he was on time). I would highly recommend them to anyone, theses guys are good.

They are very nice and do make sure to come out fast however, they are very expensive. I needed a new pump for my toilet (the whole kit is $19.99) and I was charged $186.50. They do not quote you on the phone and I was blown away at the cost when he got here. They said it is $90 for the call, $60 for the hour of work (which was completed in ten minutes) and then $26.50 for the parts. I needed to get this fixed and just moved to the area, so I had no choice but to pay, plus, it would have been $150 for him to just leave. Not happy about the cost. Again, they are nice and fast, but costly.

On Saturday it was the hottest day of the year. We just had a newborn son and our Air conditioner broke. We were worried we would have to go to a hotel for the wknd. We called Brothers and the owner was going on a date night with his wife. He rushed over within 10 minutes and fixed our unit within 30 minutes. He installed a top-of-the-line power pack and potential relay and had us up and running 40 minutes after we called. Amazing service!
