I hired Brothers Plumbing (Jim) on September 20, 2022. I bought a Navien water heater, based on Jim's recommendation, over Noritz, Rheem, or others.
I paid Brothers $3,950.00 for the water heater and installation. Navien has a 5 year parts and 1 year labor warranty.
In May, 5/09/2023 the display unit went bad,so Jim did come out and replaced it, with my help, he not really sure on how to do it.
Then on October 3rd, 2023, the same display unit went bad again, so I contacted Jim, he told me to contact the manufacturer, Navien , that Navien hadn't paid him for the labor the last time, he said, ""I don't work for free"", they only pay me $50.00 for my labor.
I spoke to Navien and asked why the replacement part would go bad so quickly, the representative said that it might be because of the pandemic, short handed.
So Navien said they would ship me out a new part, free of charge, but that Brother's Plumbing would have to order it, which I told Jim, he said , give me the part number ( I had to find it, not him).
That was on 10/03/2023. They shipped the part to Brother's Plumbing, I never heard from Jim of Brothers Plumbing, until I got a hold of Navien's field rep, he said the part was delivered to Brother's back in mid October 2023, but I received no call or text from them. I had to get a hold of Navien's field representative myself.
So Jim then said I had a polarity problem with ground or voltage. I checked it out and also had a licensed electrician check it out, no problems.
So Jim finally said, it's not his problem.
Why would anyone hire them. By the way all this was still under warranty.

Due to the fumigation of our building, the gas had to be turned off. When the gas company came to turn the gas back on, we discovered a problem with the pilot light on our hot water heater. The pilot light was making little explosions when you turned it on and the gas company red tagged us. I needed service. I called a couple of companies and either had a no answer or no availability until I reached Jim and Brothers Plumbing. He scheduled me for the next morning and arrived early along with his son James. He explained the situation and the need for a new water heater because the existing one was over 10 years old. Long story short, within 3 hours a new water heater was up and running. This father and son team set the standard for great customer service - fast, conscientious and extremely capable. I will use them again without any reservations.

John and Jim of Brothers Plumbing... need an attitude check. Some of the rudest guys I've ever had to encounter. They show up 2 hours away from your apt not to mention forced us to be available so they can get the ""emergency"" weekend fee. Customer service is clearly not their realm here. Maybe if they did decent work they wouldn't have to be back for a second time with the same problem a year apart from each other. Hopefully this Yelp review gets you to be nicer to your customers and people you have to encounter while working for this plumbing company.

I'm needing a new air/heating unit--ready to get bids, hire and get going. One guy makes the appointment to look at the job. A different guy shows up (has the time mixed up). He looks around but says he will need to have the installer come to look at the job. The ""installer"" comes, and says he does jobs for Brothers. He sends me a bid that was outrageously high (as compared to the others I received.) This was a big waste of time!

I was quoted $2,218 to replace a hot water tank. That should be criminal and it disgusts me that this company takes advantage of people like that. I got the job done by a plumber off Thumbtack for $709.

Brother's Plumbing has done work for us for many years. They are always on time and professional. They have done a variety of plumbing projects over the years. They will respond quickly in a plumbing emergency: My kitchen sink clogged as I was preparing dinner for 12 guests, Jim came immediately and corrected the problem.
This is a local family owned business, honest and hard working professionals. I highly recommend them.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Brothers. I had an old, leaking tub and shower faucet I originally wanted repaired to avoid the cost and mess of a replacement. Jim went above and beyond to find the discontinued parts but before they could ship, the faucet started to run continuously - there was no way I could wait. Thankfully, he was able to come out the next day to do a replacement.

From beginning to end, I was impressed by the care and concern Jim took in keeping everything clean, from transporting his tools and equipment to clean-up. He did a great job working with the existing plumbing - the new handle and spout look fantastic! Brother's Plumbing exceeded my expectations; Jim was nothing less than professional and punctual, he communicated well and was very fair with pricing.
