I was quoted $2,218 to replace a hot water tank. That should be criminal and it disgusts me that this company takes advantage of people like that. I got the job done by a plumber off Thumbtack for $709.

Brother's Plumbing has done work for us for many years. They are always on time and professional. They have done a variety of plumbing projects over the years. They will respond quickly in a plumbing emergency: My kitchen sink clogged as I was preparing dinner for 12 guests, Jim came immediately and corrected the problem.
This is a local family owned business, honest and hard working professionals. I highly recommend them.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Brothers. I had an old, leaking tub and shower faucet I originally wanted repaired to avoid the cost and mess of a replacement. Jim went above and beyond to find the discontinued parts but before they could ship, the faucet started to run continuously - there was no way I could wait. Thankfully, he was able to come out the next day to do a replacement.

From beginning to end, I was impressed by the care and concern Jim took in keeping everything clean, from transporting his tools and equipment to clean-up. He did a great job working with the existing plumbing - the new handle and spout look fantastic! Brother's Plumbing exceeded my expectations; Jim was nothing less than professional and punctual, he communicated well and was very fair with pricing.

Called and explained our a/c situation. I had to explain the entire problem and his answer was, "" That's not something I'm very interested in"". I explained the problem because he asked and I thought I was calling a professional place. Don't waste your time here.. the phone call alone was disappointing .., imagine the work.

Called up brothers plumbing last Friday for a back flow test and told them I need it done by next Friday or the water will be shut off. They told me to email them the back flow form, they would be out next business day, and charge 50 dollars per line. I called them on Monday to confirm they received the email and would be out that day. They told me he hasn't checked his email yet and would check tomorrow (Tuesday) and go from there. I called them up on Tuesday to confirm this and he said he hasn't checked his email yet (are you serious?), but will be out tomorrow (Wednesday). So yesterday rolls by, and I haven't seen him come yet. I called him up and no response. WOW. This back flow must not make him money to not care about my service. It only takes like less than 30 mins. I called another plumber, and guess what. He came next day and was way cheaper than what these fools charge and they did the job. Hmm, you charge more for crappy service. Must be the new trend now. Those 1 stars are all true

I had a gas leak. They were unable to find it, charged $395, and recommended they re-pipe my house for $10,000-$12,000. I brought in the plumber my insurance company recommended. He found the leak and fixed it.

Incredibly unprofessional!!
on 6/6/2016 i contacted them to complete a backflow water test for a rental property that i own. i emailed them the paperwork that needed to be filled out. Since they had done the exact same test 2 years prior, i though it would be easy. It should have been no problem right? NO way!
I got a call back the next day assuring me that the test would be completed and the paperwork would be done and sent it to the water district. i was also informed that the price would to $75 ($10 higher than the previous year) - no problem, i agreed to it.
Fast forward 8 days, my renter calls me to say the water district is about to cut off their water service because the test was not completed. I call up Brothers/email them, no response. I had to call the Water district to buy some more time, which i was able to get another 2 days.
2 days later Brothers calls me back saying they had not received the paperwork and hence they were delayed (mind you they didn't even call me to ask for it for a week). This was the first flag, i had indeed sent them the paperwork in my original email. On top of that, the person told me it was going to cost $90 because ""you are an hour away from us"". I told the person that i was originally quoted $75 within the promised time-frame, which had now passed... he said im sorry, can t help you.
Knowing i was pressed against time, they were able to extort a really high charge for this service. On top of that i didn't even get a copy of the paperwork until i requested it.
I must say, these guys were good once upon a time, now they are just unprofessional, liars who make false promises. Very disappointing
