Absolutely outstanding service from
Brother Plumbing! When I had an issue with my HVAC drain, they came out within 10 minutes of my initial call, and had the problem fixed less than an hour later. The technician not only went out of his way to diagnose the problem, but also provided me with information about how it was installed improperly by the HVAC company so I was able to recoup some of the expense of the damage done. As long as I live in the Howe/Van Alstyne/Sherman area I will be using Brother Plumbing exclusively.

Broken outdoor faucet. Had to get under the house, sweat copper pipe, sweat new faucet to pipe. Trent did good work as far as I can tell. Less than an hour of work (on a Sunday tho) cost $600. Seems outrageous, one guy, 3' copper, one outdoor spigot, less than 1 hour = $600.

These guys were great. Very reasonably priced. Very professional and knowledgeable. Careful not to damage anything. They got the main line unclogged quickly and even though it took more time than they thought it would, they didn't charge anything extra. I contacted Brother Plumber and they came on time and accessed the issue. The biggest problem I had with them was their prices are set up like an a la cart menu. You pay for this then if you need something else you pay a higher price and if you need something else it's more money. This bothered me because I ask myself, how do you know if they're working hard enough so you don't need something else. That is my issue so, for that reason and also the price range was too high for me I did not use them. Beyond the price, I can not say if they were good or not as I did not use them. They did come on time and they were very nice but that's about it, hence the three stars.

We haven't had a master bathroom toilet for over a week. We called one plumbing company, they came out 2 hours after our appointment window only to tell us they could not set the toilet because the flange was too high!

We were referred to Brother Plumbers and they got the job done. The flange did not need to be replaced. They arrived on time and spent less than 30min installing our new toilet!

This company has a very specific way of doing business that, in my opinion, takes advantage of naïve consumers. They are friendly on the phone and prompt, but the first thing they do is examine the work and then tell you the price -- and then ask you to sign a contract that you will pay that amount.

This seems like a fair way to do business, but it's not. What you do not know is that their pricing is ridiculously high. In my particular example, I was charged $350 for (and I'm not exaggerating) 15 minutes of work. It was a trivial job and they should have told me that. Instead, they relied on me being an unsophisticated home-owner who wants the problem solved and is too naïve to believe that any reputable plumber would grossly overcharge. When the work is done and you're like, "What? You're charging me that amount for a few minutes work," they remind you that you signed a contract.

This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never do business with this company again. Not only do I feel ripped off and taken advantage of by this transaction, but now I'm suspicious of every repair company.

Contrast this with another plumbing repair I recently had. My garbage disposal was jammed. On the phone, he estimated it would $300 depending on the problem. When he came out, he noticed that it was a very simple (2 minute) fix and then, rather than gouging me, said, "I don't feel right charging you our estimated amount. How about a $95 trip charge and $50 for the repair?" So different.

I had these guys over for a water leak at water meter. They came very same day and quickly diagnosed location where they suspected it was leaking underground. Fixed job right first time and cleaned up after finishing repair. It was best value. I liked their fast response. Very professional in providing a great service. Overall Great job!!

I am not sure where to begin with how Brothers is just downright awesome. It all started when I moved to a new house and the bathroom plumbing was just not great so I reached out to a couple of plumbers and Brother Plumber got back to me fastest with a reasonable approach. Well Bobby T. showed up and gave a pretty reasonable flat-rate estimate to replace two faucets and a toilet. We figured the job would take about 1.5 hours, but it seems that just about everything went south from the beginning - not the least of which were a sketchy original install from the early 1970's and a tub drain not connected. Somewhere around 7 hours later Bobby T. knocked out the job and it all works great AND they stuck with the original price quote. Throughout the entire ordeal Bobby T. was fantastic and communicated what was going on, but most importantly finished the job by doing things right the first time. The artistry of the final result was also pretty fantastic and used a bit more copper than was expected.

I would DEFINITELY recommend Brother Plumber to anyone for their workmanship and professionalism.

I had a pipe break in the kitchen. Bobby was the guy who helped us out. When he scoped it with the camera, he showed me. He told old me a step by step process on how it would be fixed. He was very competitive with pricing. He didn't try to up-sell on us. He was very polite, kept us in with each step. I don't want any other plumbing issues but if I do, I will be using Bobby and this company again.
