Mediocre work. Our landlord hired him to do several projects around the home. All were done to meet minimum requirements. For example we had the bathroom painted, nails were hammered into the wall instead of being pulled out. The nails were painted over and are now rusting in the humidity of the bathroom so you can see the spots on the walls. He was also suppose to come tend to the yard biweekly and did not come for 2 months... I do not believe he is a licensed electrician or plumber... When we had electrical issues the landlord sent him first and the problem was not resolved which was for the best because then we had to get a licensed pro.... I'm sure he has competitive prices, but in the long run you may need to pay more to get the job done properly.

I had a corner kitchen cabinet which housed a Lazy Susan that seemed to be utterly impossible to repair. As a long distance landlord I rely on competent, reliable and trustworthy servicemen/women to get the job done. I contacted so many people who either didn't follow through for the repair or didn't know how to do the job. I had all but given up on it when another service person recommended Brother Perry. He got the job done, finally! He was really easy to work with and very reasonably priced. I called him again for two other issues and he fixed those as well. So glad to have found him, and intend to call him for all our handyman needs.

We recently re-landscaped the entire front of our house with Brother Perry. I had good idea of what I wanted and did most of the designing. Brother Perry was really great at working with my vision and adding elements of his own that were totally additive. My husband and I are very pleased with his work. Great all around! His scope of services is broad, he's very responsive and easy to work with, his pricing is fair and he does quality work. Brother Perry recently completed a job converting an extra room in our downstairs to a mini-ktichen. He installed a sink, connected the water lines, installed and cut the granite slab we found (and get this, he went and found THE MATCHING granite for a backsplash, and installed that too, when we hadn't even thought of it), painted, installed flooring, and boxed in exposed piping. He stayed on budget, communicated with us by phone and e-mail the whole way through, finished the job in a very tight timeframe (we were hoping to have it done before Thanksgiving when some friends were coming to town, and he did that, too), and overall just did a great job. He said he would come back and touch up a part of the job that didn't look quite right to him, and he also did that, just a few days later. Great job, and in fact I'm going to e-mail him right now for another job we have.

I found out about Brother Perry from the Berkeley Parents Network site. He had a great review from previous customers. He came to Berkeley to give me a free quote on an old dresser that needed some fixing up. His prices are reasonable and he gives you detailed information about what can be done and the price quote. The dresser came out just as he said and was returned clean. He is flexible and will come day or night. He also responds quickly to emails, phone calls and is reliable. I will use him again.

Perry took my money and ran with it. He put down some pipe that doesn't even drain and call that gray water system. There is no vent in the wall and he punched 3 big holes on the siding and some ugly ass pipe coming out without support and not secured to the building whatsoever. He disappeared with the money without correcting the work for 2 month, and came back to even try to ask for more money like there is no shame in taking advantage of woman that needed help. I ask him to correct his job and he told me he would but he didn't. He took stuff from my house saying he would put together a cabinet for me and guess what happened. There were just full of empty promises in his sales scheme and everyone of it was a lie. I have to spend more money now to fix the mistake he did to my house, every single contractor licensed or not came to look at his job told me he was con. I will consider pursuit legal action after him.

This is the second time I have hired Brother Perry. I previously lived in Pinole and have moved to San Jose. I was excited he decided to make the trip. I moved into a condo which seriously required vinyl floor in the dining room, kitchen and laundry area. Brother Perry drove to San Jose and gave me an estimate for the installation of the vinyl and a few other jobs. I purchased the vinyl and Brother Perry picked up the vinyl from Home Depot and arrived on Saturday. Prior to his arrival, I received an email detailing the job and the price. He laid out the vinyl and inquired as to the direction I wanted it laid. I told him to just make it nice. I left him to work in the condo as I ran errands. To my surprise when I returned home, he had completed the installation of the vinyl as well as the 3 other jobs. The vinyl is beautiful and the other 3 jobs were professionally done. Brother Perry is professional, explains the scope of work, cleans up after the job and the price is as quoted. I will be contacting him again to install new carpet throughout the condo.

Brother Perry is one of the most amazing humans that I have worked with.

He promised to fix our heater... and despite a big project he had going, he came at nights and worked on it. The new heater unit was not working, and he took the effort and time to take it back to the shop again, called the manufacturer, get one exchanged, and persevered to make sure it is up and running. Our nest is warm because of his efforts.

Highly recommend Brother Perry for a reliable service... he will take care of you more than you can imagine to take care of your home.
