Raciel and his stepson Sebastian are prompt and reliable. He was excellent with managing expectations and upfront with cost, first asking me to send a picture of the bathroom faucet and doing research ahead of time to see if he could pre-diagnose to save extra trips or if parts might be needed. He came the next day, let me know via text when he was running early. I am definitely keeping his contact information for future plumbing issues.

Brookland Plumbing was very responsive and booked our appointment for the following morning. They arrived earlier than their projected window and were efficient and clean. Without us asking, they even sealed around our hose bib so no air, water, or pests could access inside the wall cavity. Highly recommend their services.

My tenant informed me they had no hot water. I knew what the problem was, the valve cartridge needed to be adjusted, but also knew it would take me a while to do it, and my vision isn't the best. I found Brookland Plumbing online and liked their good reviews and the fact that it was really a ""mom and pop"" shop. Raciel called 5 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive to tell me that he was 5 minutes away, which I loved.

Working with his wife, Aya (?), they were able to fix the issue in and showed me exactly what needed to be done 15 minutes . However, they do charge by the hour. He offered to fix any other plumbing issue I might have to use the rest of the time. It just so happened that my bathroom toilet, I live directly across the street, was loose. Apparently, the previous plumber put a new wax ring over the old wax ring and the tile on the floor was not even. Fortunately, I had a spare wax ring and Raciel applied epoxy to level and stabilize the toilet. Although they went a little over an hour, they did not charge me for a second hour. They also replaced the porcelain bolt cap for aesthetics.

I was super pleased with their service and will definitely call them again for any plumbing issue. #SupportSmallBusiness

Ours was a simple problem -- our showerhead was leaking due to a broken shower cartridge -- but one completely beyond my or my husband's technical know-how to diagnose let alone fix. Raciel was able to quickly identify the issue with a few texted photos and short phone call, fit us in the next day at 9 am, showed up with his wife exactly on time (literally, the doorbell rang at 9:00 on the dot), and even though it took him a little more than an hour, they only charged us for an hour. And the constant drip drip drip is now stopped. Did they have to go to the store to buy the new cartridge? Yes. But they took the old broken cartridge with him to match it to the new one, which I appreciated. Were my husband and I technically savvy enough to know how to access the shower cartridge, we could have probably saved us some time by buying a replacement online. But that's the point -- we didn't know how to access it and hadn't installed the shower ourselves (it was present when we bought the house) so didn't know the brand or type we would need. Very satisfied customer and would happily use them again.

I really like Racial and his wife. They are a great team, explain what they do well, and work efficiently. (They did two jobs for me -- replacing my interior water main pipe and replacing my water heater.) Very highly recommend them.

I'm not sure this business is still open. I called a couple of times yesterday and today, but the outgoing voicemail greeting is from March 2020 (saying they won't be available the last two weeks of March, presumably due to the pandemic, which had just hit at that time), and the voicemail mailbox is full, so I couldn't leave a message. It's too bad, as we had them do some work for us a few years ago and were happy with it.

Service was great, prompt and fair. They addressed my immediate issue that I had with a leaky tub and also let me know what work needed to be done in the future to fix the full issue as it was more with the old tile that needed to be replaced than with the plumbing. Would use them again for sure.
