Receptionist taking the call was friendly, nice enough.. but because we couldn't guarantee a parking space when they arrived, they passed on our job. Are you kidding me? THIS IS DC.. I can't guarantee that I can find a parking space when I get home. Good for them that they can cherry pick jobs this way. I'm kinda at a loss. If you want guaranteed parking at a job site.. maybe you shouldn't be working in DC.

I had Brookland Plumbing come out to look at an issue with a toilet and a few smaller items. They took care of everything very quickly and professionally. The quality of the work was excellent and they were very clear about the issues they fixed and provided me some helpful tips for the future. They clearly knew their stuff and they will be my first call for future plumbing needs.

I didn't end up needing to use Brookland Plumbing, but I called when I first moved into a new condo with a couple plumbing problems. It's a husband/wife team and she called right away to talk me through what was going on and what parts I would need to fix the problem. Her patience and explanation was invaluable! Definitely support this business if you can -- you won't regret it. Service is top notch.

They were great- honest, responsive via text and phone, and very clear upfront about costs, scheduling, explaining exactly what they'd need to do, etc. They did a great job replacing a sink in my bathroom, and we'll definitely call them again next time we have a plumbing issue.

Excellent local team & I highly recommend them for quality, efficient work. They answered my call promptly and installed a kitchen sink for us and easily fixed a leaky toilet that another plumber messed up. They are also rigorously honest. Once I called asking them about a potential leak & they told me that it was likely a caulking problem that could be fixed by a contractor or handyman with much less expense than hiring a plumber. I totally trust these guys (it's a small, family business) and would hire them for any job. They are honest and do quality work. The woman who answers the phones is the wife of the plumber & she's great - she will answer questions and was even able to give an estimate of how long the job might take, etc. So glad to have found this business!

I had a leak under my sink. They were able to come out the next day of my call and came within the time frame. Overall, it took about 45 mins to fix. They did a great job and are really nice -- showed me exactly what was wrong, what needed to be replaced, and showed me the work once they were down. I also really liked that they were a local father and son team.

The only slight negative is that it sometimes takes a while for them to return your call. Luckily for us it wasn't an emergency. Overall, very nice people and they fixed the issue I was having.

They came and replaced a disposal for me and it was a tight squeeze. So friendly and great to support a local family business! Father and Son working together and they were awesome. I will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs in the city.

We have an older house and needed a few different plumbing jobs done. Firstly we had an iron main drain pipe that had cracked and needed to be replaced. The second job was to replace our toilet. Unfortunately, our relatively straight forward job quickly turned bigger than expected when it was discovered that most of the main drain pipe had weakened and needed to be replace than was first thought. We also discovered that a good bit of the subfloor under the toilet also needed to be replaced. Fortunately, the Brookland plumbing team took it all in stride and made sure that everything was fixed and put to rights before leaving. Naturally, these hiccups took longer to remedy than was expected which, much to their scheduler's chagrin, caused them to fall behind on getting to their other customers that day. My wife and I truly appreciated the care, professionalism and expertise that Brookland displayed in helping us that day. To anyone that asks me, they are the first I would recommend.
